The Israel Deception

Is the return of Israel in the 20th century truly a work of God, or is it a result of a cosmic chess move to deceive the elect by the adversary?

Texas Gold Depository plans moving forward as state to create internal banking system where accounts are backed by gold

On June 12 the comptroller for the state of Texas finally named a head for its Gold Depository project and are in the process of finding a third party entity to run the new infrastructure.

The Texas Gold Depository will be something much greater than simply a state run institution to house gold and other precious metals.  It will be a way for other government agencies, corporations, and even individuals to both store gold, and then use that collateral like a bank account where they can draw and conduct financial transactions using the gold as if it were cash deposits.

Tom Smelker just became one of the most important men in Texas because he’s in charge of protecting the state’s gold.
Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar on Monday named Smelker, 63, a longtime comptroller employee, to oversee the soon-to-be-developed Texas Bullion Depository.
While it’s geared to give Texans a place to store precious metals, it’s not just for residents.
Financial institutions, cities, school districts, businesses, individuals — even other countries — could do business there as well. And storage fees will be charged to generate revenue for the state.
At the depository, Texans will be able to open accounts similar to checking and savings accounts at traditional banks — and monitor them online.
People will be able to deposit gold and silver and use their account to make payments by using checks or electronic means. Many have likened the depository to a bank that doesn’t do any lending. - Star-Telegram
As trust in traditional banking begins to wane, especially in light of how leveraged fractional banking and central bank monetary policies have destroyed the purchasing power of the dollar, more individuals are looking for ways to store their wealth in hard assets like gold, but still be able to use it as money, just as America once did for the first 160 years.

Chinese investors looking for any and all safe havens out of Yuan as gold imports soar to highest level since 2013

While Chinese regulators attempt to tweak Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency use within its borders, the virtual money is not the only save haven investors are seeking to move into as a way to get out of the Yuan.  In fact, 2017 has once again seen a surge in gold imports and purchases after a slight slowdown last year.

China, the world’s biggest gold market, may boost imports through Hong Kong by about half this year as local investors seek to protect their wealth from currency risks, a slowing property market and volatile stocks, according to the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society.
Mainland China is set to import about 1,000 metric tons from the territory in 2017, said Haywood Cheung, president of the century-old exchange in Hong Kong which trades physical gold and silver. That compares with net purchases of 647 tons last year and would be the biggest since 2013, data from the Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department compiled by Bloomberg show. - Bloomberg
With the ongoing frenzy in the cryptocurrencies encompassing not just China, but all of Asia, gold is looking like a under-valued asset in comparison to Bitcoin which is now more than twice the price of an ounce of gold.  And couple this with geo-political chaos in the Middle East and in Britain over the past month, and it appears more and more that trust in sovereign currencies are losing favor as the shift to alternative wealth protections outside the Yuan had become a high priority.

As global currencies roil in turmoil, Bitcoin has now officially reached parity with the price of gold

After shifting Westward since the beginning of the year, when Bitcoin's price movements were primarily tied to Chinese influence, the crypto-currency has not only reached a new all-time high on March 2, but it has also achieved parity with the current price of gold.

Diverging together at $1236 apiece just minutes ago, the alternative choices to holding fiat currencies are now justifiably vying for the market share of individuals around the world who experiencing severe crises in their own economies and local currencies.

Global currency troubles:

Venezuela: The Central Bank of Venezuela says the country is down to just $10.5 billion in foreign reserves. At the same time, Caracas has to meet debt obligations of $7.2 billion this year.

Greece: Now, fresh tensions over the country’s bailout are putting that progress at risk. About 1.3 percent of deposits were pulled from the banks in January, while bad loans crept higher, an increase Bank of Greece Governor Yannis Stournaras blamed on borrowers using the deadlock with creditors as an excuse to avoid making their payments.

Greek officials are meeting in Athens this week with representatives of the euro area and International Monetary Fund to set out the policies Greece must undertake to unlock more loans. The government foresees an accord in March or early April, but the scale of pending issues raises concerns they may be politically hard to sell at home.

U.S.: On March 15, the latest suspension expires and the debt limit will likely reset a little north of $20 trillion.

If Congress has not voted by mid-March to either extend the suspension or raise the ceiling, Mnuchin will have to start using special accounting measures just to keep paying the country's bills without violating the borrowing limit.

With the gold price currently being held down through the Comex and London derivatives markets, the likelihood of Bitcoin's price soaring well past that of the yellow metal is very real, especially as the Federal Reserve has come out in recent days almost assuring the markets of another rate hike.  And this will only add more fuel to the crypto-currency's legacy as it officially becomes one of the world's most popular alternatives to holding one's wealth in any sovereign currency.

Central Asian country's central bank calls for all its citizens to buy and own at least 100 grams of gold

In a move that is completely opposite to the way Western governments and central banks see the monetary power of gold, the central bank for the nation of Kyrgyzstan on Feb. 15 called for every one of their citizens to work towards buying and owning at least 100 grams of gold.

Starting in 2015, Kyrgyzstan began offering gold bullion to their citizens as a way to diversify their wealth in the face of global financial turmoil, and to protect against the ongoing currency wars that were seeing nation after nation devalue their currencies and accrue massive debts.

A landlocked nation perched between China and Kazakhstan is embarking on an experiment with little parallel worldwide: shifting savings from cattle to gold.
One of the first post-Soviet republics to adopt a new currency and let it trade freely, Kyrgyzstan’s central bank wants every citizen to diversify into gold. Governor Tolkunbek Abdygulov says his “dream” is for every one of the 6 million citizens to own at least 100 grams (3.5 ounces) of the precious metal, the Central Asian country’s biggest export.
“Gold can be stored for a long time and, despite the price fluctuations on international markets, it doesn’t lose its value for the population as a means of savings,” he said in an interview. “I’ll try to turn the dream into reality faster.”
In the two years that the central bank has offered bars directly to the population, about 140 kilograms of bullion have been sold, Abdygulov, 40, said by phone from the capital, Bishkek.
“We are hopeful that our country’s population will learn to diversify its savings into assets that are more liquid and -- more importantly -- capable of retaining their value,” he said. In rural areas, cattle is still the asset of choice for investors and savers, according to Abdygulov. - Bloomberg

How much gold and silver should an individual or family have to protect their wealth?

For those who invest, save, or stack gold and silver, the question always arises on what kind, and how much should individuals or families have to protect themselves from a financial disaster, or to protect their wealth.  The answer of course is arbitrary since no two people live under the same circumstances, but there are some general rules to help in diversifying yourself from the cycles of economic chaos.

If there is anything the last 100 years have taught us is that either by greed, corruption, natural cycles or simple chance, economies and currencies will have periods of extreme decline.  And sadly for most people, no matter how many times the financial system fails, few prepare themselves for that one time the turmoil will come to effect them, or even their entire community.

In just the past 20 years we have seen two economies go into hyperinflation, and several others experience currency crises and deep depressions.  And while the United States and most of Europe has not fully collapsed into any of these scenarios, history shows that at some point all empires fall, and all monetary systems fail.

But will it be in our lifetimes?

If the financial crisis of 2008 proved anything it is that systems can seize up and collapse in a matter of days.  Yet unlike the phantom specters of events such as Y2K or even the more recent Brexit vote, people often don't have months or years to prepare for change and must learn to make monetary preparation a lifestyle choice.

So the question still remains... how much gold and silver should individuals or families accumulate to be solvent in nearly any crisis or financial cycle change that could take place?  We know in Venezuela right now that on the streets an ounce of silver will buy enough food for a family to last 3-4 months, and a gold ounce coin will buy a house.  But more than this, when the inevitable global financial collapse comes what will you need to be able to both survive, and set the foundations to thrive in what new system emerges.

The first thing one must do is change their mindset.  When determining the amount of precious metals to own the solution is not determined in price or value, but in the number of ounces.  This is important because their values change daily, and are different in relation to the hundreds of different currencies operational around the world.

Second you must do a real evaluation of your wealth, incomes, debts, and needs.  And from there it becomes much easier to figure out what goals to set in accumulating a stack.

Thirdly you must recognize what each form of precious metals does for your portfolio and how to allocate it.  The best rule of thumb is to see the metals and metal stocks in this light.

1.  Gold - Wealth protection
2.  Silver - Barter and also Investment
3.  Mining Stocks - Speculation

Each of these are also in the correct order of risk, with gold being the least risky and mining stocks being the most volatile.

Here is a good example of how much of each metal you would need if there were no longer cash or income from employment, and the economy had moved into an inflationary spiral.

Chart courtesy of Jeff Clark

But as with all financial crises, there are no cut and dry parameters or limits to be fully covered.  As I noted today in Venezuela, only three ounces of silver would cover your food needs for one year.

In times past brokers who actually believed in precious metal ownership suggested having 5-10% of your wealth held in both gold and silver, while another 5% might be dedicated towards speculation (mining stocks).  But this adheres to the premise of value vs. ounces, and since your would be holding the metals physically in hand, ounces are the most important determinant.

As I am not a Certified Financial Planner, I can only give suggestions and thoughts based on my experiences and prognostication of future events.  And with this in mind for myself as a single unmarried individual, my minimum stacks would be like this.

10 ounces (or equal grams) of gold bullion
500 ounces of silver
$500 - $5000 in speculative mining stocks

In the end this article is not meant to determine exactly for you how much gold and silver you would need to protect your wealth and hedge against financial crises or uncertainties.  But it is a beginning from where you can assess your own situations and set some short, medium, and long-term goals because the time for buying any type of insurance is always before the disaster strikes, not while it is happening when that insurance will be far beyond your ability to afford it.

The only real option if you offshore your money is to keep it in gold

If you take into consideration all the extreme monetary policies and capital controls instituted by governments and central banks over the past six years you would come to the realization that offshoring some or a large portion of your wealth is no longer a luxury, but a necessity.  But in many of these controls that several governments have created to try to monitor, tax, and even confiscate one's wealth if they try to protect it from devaluation, the only real option is to transfer it into some form of asset that is outside the banking system.

And more than any other facility possible, that option is gold.

Under current U.S reporting laws, if you own gold offshore in an individual name, it is not a requirement that you report it to either the IRS or the U.S Treasury. However, if the title of the gold is held in the name of a legal entity, it must be reported but if it is held in your offshore account, it is reportable. So, owning and holding gold in an offshore account is completely legal.
There are several reasons why people use offshore accounts to own and store gold. These include offshore confidentiality, protection, tax planning, privacy, and investment diversification among other things. A carefully planned and executed offshore account can assist you with each of the areas mentioned above. By transferring your gold to an offshore account, you are also protecting your asset to the fullest extent.
It is easy to have some or all of your gold in an offshore account waiting for you when you need it. If in the event of a price movement you want to sell it, you can always hire a local lawyer and instruct them to act on your behalf. Considering that many countries, especially those in Asia, view gold as something in demand or money, it is often easy to sell and fetch better prices in Asian countries.
If you choose to store your gold in a private vault facility, you also add a unique layer of privacy to your asset. This is because precious metals held in non-bank facilities, and more so gold, are not subject to government reporting. From Switzerland and Singapore to Austria and Hong Kong, there are many gold storage facilities in these privacy-friendly countries. - SMHPA
The financial system stands on the cusp of its next great crisis, with several banks this week forecasting collapse in multiple markets and infrastructures.  And whether it is in Germany with Deutsche Bank, Italy with their faltering banks, or the realization that the Fed, ECB, and Bank of Japan are out of options, the threat of bank bail-ins are now very real, as is the institution of even greater capital controls that will limit your ability to protect your wealth in the very near future.

Where are the best places in the world to store your physical gold, silver, and other precious metals

There are an infinite amount of analysts who have their own varying opinions on buying precious metals, and more importantly, how and where to store them.

Some through ignorance or agenda will swear by having their customers purchase gold through etf's or other paper securities, while others believe in the old axiom about property that says, if you don't hold it, you don't own it.

But with the world no longer being a place where it takes months versus hours to get from one location to another, and communications and access are just a Smartphone touchscreen away, the options available for you to buy gold in one place, and have it stored in another, is no longer a cumbersome process, and in many cases is the most prudent of measures.

Personally I believe in a five-fold diversification when it comes to precious metals and wealth protection.

1.  Have some cash on hand, outside the banking system

2.  Have some physical gold on hand

3.  Have some physical silver on hand as part of an investment plan

4.  Have the majority of your wealth outside of banks, and outside your local jurisdiction (offshore)

5.  Look into mining stocks for the speculative portion of your portfolio, and don't be married to them forever

Today nearly all markets are manipulated to a lessor or greater degree, including equities, bonds, interest rates, real estate, currencies, etal... and the days of buy and hold ended following the Crash of 2007-08.  And what is left are hard physical assets that are meant to be used as wealth protection and protection of your purchasing power from the profits and earnings you acquire through investments or salaries.

Yet when it comes to storing your wealth this can be one of the hardest choices to make, verify, and trust.  And in a new White Paper published by Sprott Money Lmt. last week, the long time metals institution laid out the best and most secure areas to store precious metals in your offshore portfolio.

Holding that gold outside the banking system, and for some, outside one’s own country, are increasingly popular options. Canada, Switzerland, and four other countries have particularly attractive characteristics.
Those are the conclusions of a new whitepaper produced by Sprott Money Ltd.
Canada and Switzerland are obvious choices. The True North has fabulous natural resources, one of the world’s most stable banking systems and hasn’t been attacked in more than 200 years (the last two times the Americans tried to invade - during the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812 - things did not work out so well for them).
Switzerland, which ranked first on the Tax Justice Network’s Financial Secrecy Index in 2015, has fabulous attractions as an offshore investment locale. These include a long history of offering investors a safe, discreet place to store assets. That applies doubly for gold, which has a better reputation in Switzerland than in almost any other country.
The Sprott report also identifies Singapore, Germany, and the Cayman Islands as current good offshore storage jurisdictions.
The paper also acknowledges that many other international jurisdictions such as Dubai, Australia, and Hong Kong are regarded as good locales, but acknowledges that changing geopolitical risks requires constant monitoring of domestic and international investment environments. - Zerohedge
Ironically, the U.S. made the list as well, but with a caveat... and that is, no financial institution or storage location is considered rock solid safe, and the best place to store your gold and other precious metals is with the individual owners themselves.

As with all investments, taking the time to research where to store your physical metals is just as important as taking the time to research a broker or investment house.  Because in the end, the responsibility for our wealth lies with us, and not with those who we might commission to hold it.

Gold supplies declining as the cost to mine the metal continues to increase nine years after reaching Peak Gold

It was determined back in 2007 that the world had reached the point of Peak Gold, which means that the majority of easily accessible metal had already extracted from the earth and that going forward, mining costs would invariably increase just to be able to get smaller and small amounts from new gold discoveries.

Eight years later, analysts are now predicting that the industry has reached a new plateau of Peak Gold Production, and that supplies to the market will continue to decrease as well, leading to a drive up in price as demand remains steady and supplies dwindle.

This year gold has traded so strongly with the jitters in other markets that it’s easy to forget its own fundamentals.
And that might be a mistake. Because they are looking interesting.
Discoveries peaked in 2007 and production will shortly do the same, according to Canadian investment firm Sprott Asset Management. New finds have collapsed between then and now, but not for want of looking. Indeed, “exploration budgets rose 250% from 2009 to 2012,” Sprott’s gold team wrote in a recent note.
It looks as though 2015 may be the peak year of global production - about 95 million ounces. On an annualised basis, the decline would be about 2.2% a year out to 2024 it said.
This will be supportive of gold prices, which are already up more than 24% this year. But it also looks interesting for miners. It is likely that there will be a “significant wave of M&A (mergers and acquisitions) within the industry” because “companies need to replace both reserve and production ounces”. - News Markets
As the economy and banking systems tread water in their reliance for continuous quantitative easing and negative interest rates, more and more people who have discounted gold for many years will one change their tune and seek the security of wealth protection that only gold can provide.  And when that day soon comes, the problem that will hang over them is not if they can afford the price of buying the metal, but will there be any metal available to them when the flood gates open from the rise in consumer demands.

Elite hypocrisy: G20 seeks to create tax haven blacklist of any nation who won't give up customer accounts

In the aftermath of the Panama Papers scandal from earlier this year, the G20 and central banks are looking to put a halt on anyone besides themselves who seeks to move their wealth offshore and outside the purview of government controls.

Scheduled to be on the agenda list during the next G20 meeting, leaders of the top 20 economies want to crack down on offshore hidden tax havens that do not give up the names and amounts of individual accounts they hold.
"G20 has decided to tackle non-cooperating jurisdictions seriously…the idea is implemented in the development of criteria by which a given economy will be assigned the status of a non-cooperating jurisdiction. The list must be ready by the next summit," Storchak told journalists following the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting on July 23-24 in China's Chengdu.
The idea to punish the countries refusing to cooperate on the issue of tax information exchange has been put on the G20 agenda after the so called Panama files have been published. - Sputnik News
The hypocrisy in all of this is that many of the wealthy and elite who control the G20 itself are protected in offshore tax havens that either fall outside the authority of sovereign governments, or in many cases, occur within these countries but are protected by the government's themselves.

Last September, at a law firm overlooking San Francisco Bay, Andrew Penney, a managing director at Rothschild & Co., gave a talk on how the world’s wealthy elite can avoid paying taxes.
His message was clear: You can help your clients move their fortunes to the United States, free of taxes and hidden from their governments.
Some are calling it the new Switzerland.
After years of lambasting other countries for helping rich Americans hide their money offshore, the U.S. is emerging as a leading tax and secrecy haven for rich foreigners. By resisting new global disclosure standards, the U.S. is creating a hot new market, becoming the go-to place to stash foreign wealth. Everyone from London lawyers to Swiss trust companies is getting in on the act, helping the world’s rich move accounts from places like the Bahamas and the British Virgin Islands to Nevada, Wyoming, and South Dakota. - Bloomberg
The going after individuals who offshored their money has always been a ruse, used as a mechanism of control by governments over those that aren't a part of the protected class.  And like the Income Tax Amendment created in 1913, which over time became the means by which regular people like you and I are taxed for earnings while the rich earn little and instead manage un-taxable assets, the elite use hyperbole such as going after tax cheats to simply keep others from achieving success and moving on up to the rarified air that they reside in.

Even insurance companies are buying gold to protect their capital as bonds become negative

Insurance companies use the monies they acquire from policy holders to grow their capital to support needed claims, as well as expand their business.  For publicly traded insurance companies this is vitally necessary to help them comply with their fiduciary responsibility to shareholders, as well as to earn enough profits to give out dividends or be able to lower premiums for their customers.

A major investment tool that insurance companies have used for years to grow their capital has been the bond markets.  But with these markets residing in an environment of both zero and negative interest rates over the past decade, many are faced with having to find a new form of asset or security to ensure their capital is protected, and that some modicum of growth is created.

So in light of this, some insurers and re-insurers are turning to gold to supplement their investing.

How do you know when the world’s economic, financial and monetary systems are in trouble?
Answer: When re-insurance companies, whose sole purpose is to insure other insurance companies, start to panic into gold and begin hoarding cash it’s probably a reliable signal that things aren’t going as well as our central bankers’ best laid plans imply.
That’s exactly what’s happening right now:
A real paradigm shift is taking place in the markets…  Even one of the world’s second largest re-insurers is now buying physical gold… They’re even adding physical cash… This is the insurance industry’s insurance company… They are the risk experts and they now are buying physical gold bullion and storing physical cash… The importance of this move is possibly the most significant flow of capital that you will see in your lifetime… - SHTF Plan
Insurance is a $1.2 trillion industry, and that does not include re-insurers or other complimentary businesses that function within this environment.  And if a critical mass of them decide to turn to gold to hedge against the loss of interest they formerly got from purchasing bonds, the gold markets would dry up in a flash, and the price would skyrocket far beyond all-time highs.

European Union wants to now monitor all Bitcoin transactions when used within Eurozone

As the financial and banking systems begin to implode all across the Eurozone, a new proposal by the European Commission (EC) seeks to dissuade the use of Bitcoin as an alternative to devalued fiat currencies by attempting to monitor all customer transactions under the guise of ‘terrorism and money laundering’.
Bitcoin is crypto-currency which was created to allow de-centralized commerce between two parties, and outside the purview of government and central bank control.  And its rise in popularity has caused fear within the establishment which has sought to both label it a security rather than a currency, and in using propaganda such as ‘only criminals use Bitcoin’ to scare average people from investigating and moving into the digital money.

As Japan prepares to dump helicopter money, Japanese consumers rush to buy gold to protect their wealth

Over the weekend, former Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke took a trip to Japan to speak with Prime Minister Shnizo Abe and central bank head Haruhiko Kuroda about the next phase of monetary policy which appears to entail the printing and giving of money directly to the Japanese people.

Known in economics as 'helicopter money' after Ben Bernanke's speech where he promised to do anything possible to keep the economy going, the Bank of Japan has reached the point where they have little to lose than to expand their money supply to infinite levels and give people direct cash to try to stimulate a 30 year recession.

When we first heard this past Thursday that private blogger and Citadel employee Ben Bernanke was going to "secretly" meet with both the BOJ's Haruhiko Kuroda and Japan PM Abe, we warned readers that "something big was coming."
As noted late last week, "Bernanke will be in Japan next week. It has been arranged for him to meet officials including Abe and Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda, according to a government official speaking on condition of anonymity. Bernanke is expected to discuss Brexit and the BOJ's negative interest rate policy with Abe and Kuroda, the official said." Reuters also added that "some market players speculate Kuroda might decide, in a surprise, to provide "helicopter money."
We concluded as follows:
So is it time? Is Bernanke about to unleash the next, and final, monetary policy evolutionary step, one which launches "helicopter money" in Japan, and if successful, brings it across the Pacific to the US?
We don't know, but if anyone is still holding on to USDJPY shorts, now may be a good time to quietly close them out because if Reuters is right, and a "helicopter money" is about to be served for the first time in modern history, things are about to get very volatile, very fast. - Zerohedge
In response to this new insane monetary policy and the fact that saving in Japan is impossible under negative interest rates, the Japanese people are buying gold in droves, and realizing that the precious metal is the only way they will protect their wealth and save what little they have left before it becomes devalued into oblivion.
While in past decades, the natural instinct of Japanese savers when faced with financial uncertainty has been to rush into the "safety" of cash (after all why allocate funds to government bonds that yield almost, or less, than nothing) as we recently showed in Safes Sell Out In Japan and Demand For Big Bills Soars As Japan Stuffs Safes With 10,000-Yen Notes, now something has changed. That something is increasing loss of faith in Japan's currency.
Take the case of Tetsushi Kudo, a 50-year-old office worker, who as Bloomberg writes, bought a one-ounce gold coin this month for the first time. With stocks slumping and zero percent interest on savings, he says it won’t be the last.
"I want to buy gold every year as a birthday present for my daughter,” Kudo said at a store in Tokyo’s posh Ginza district where he made the 162,000 yen ($1,600) purchase. “She will thank me for the gift when she grows up because gold will have value wherever she goes.”
Individual investors like Kudo drove a 60% jump in sales of the precious metal in June from May at Tanaka Holdings Co., the operator of Japan’s largest bullion retailer, as the yen’s rebound against the dollar made it more affordable. Why the surge into gold? Because far behind the glitzy facade of Abenomics, which is really just the BOJ intervening daily in the USDJPY via trust banks, and manipulating the Nikkei to give the impression that all is well, the people have checked out.

How using the Amazon.com model can earn you free gold through Karatbars

50 some odd years ago when you said network marketing, most people instantly thought of Amway or Tupperware... and some in fact may have even had visions of Bob Hope doing commercials to sell products under the Amway banner.

But the pyramid schemes and top down models of network marketing have mostly gone the way of the dodo bird, and instead have been replaced by a more beneficial model that is known in many corners as the Amazon.com model.

Amazon.com created an affiliate referral approach that allows people to post ads of products on their blogs or websites and receive earnings and compensation when readers of their site click on these ads, and/or buy products from the e-commerce company.  And this model has been so successful that it has been labeled the best and most popular referral program on the web, and in many ways has been duplicated by other companies looking to help create financial independence for their own affiliates.

With the global financial and banking systems nearly failing in 2008, and are once again sitting on the cusp of insolvency eight years later, the most secure way to protect your money and wealth has been to move it out of devaluing currencies and into physical gold.

Yet because most people today really can't afford to buy an ounce of gold for $1360 or more at its current price, many have been seeking ways to be able to accumulate the monetary metal without having to indebt themselves through the process.

Live 24 hours gold chart [Kitco Inc.]

And that is where a company called Karatbars comes in.  Starting in 2009, or just a year after the global financial and banking systems experienced catastrophic meltdown, a business model was born that sought to get affordable gold into the hands of every person by selling it not in ounces, but in gram sizes.

And to help accommodate this goal, Karatbars latched onto an affiliate referral program that has many components taken from the Amazon.com model, and is allowing customers to earn money, free gold, and commissions simply by referring others to buy gold from them.

And it can be done without having to buy an affiliate package, or purchase anything yourself.

In essence, one can simply refer others to the company, and if they purchase gold, you can earn enough over time to buy your own gold at no cost to yourself.

Here is a video that explains how you can earn free gold by simply referring others to sign up and buy gold from Karatbars.

And beginning this year, and especially as gold prices have soared by more than 25%, Karatbars has introduced derivative gold amounts, such as 1/10th, 1/4, and 1/2 of a gram to make buying affordable gold even better.
If you want to know more about this opportunity to protect your wealth, purchase money which has been the most recognized around the world for 5000 years, or just want to learn about earning free gold without a single cost to you, click on the link below and select Affiliate and sign up today.

Brexit vote in two weeks could be major catalyst for next rise in price for gold

A few years ago, analysts suggested that the specter of a Greek exit (GREXIT) from the Eurozone would cause such pressure on the Euro currency that gold prices could have risen to $2000 per ounce and over their all-time highs of just a few years before.  But since a Grexit did not take place, and the Greek government capitulated to the Troika, it was a major stumbling block for the metal and allowed central banks to continue the status quo of pumping their fiat currencies and shorting gold to their own record levels.

But things have changed over the past two years, and these include a very close referendum for secession by Scotland, a de-pegging of the Euro by Switzerland, and coming up in the next two weeks is another exit vote for an EU nation which analysts also see as a potential trigger for the next leg of the gold bull run.

By all but ruling out a rate rise in June, this leaves gold in a great position to head up to $1,400 in our opinion. The reason? The Brexit. The vote is just over two weeks away and the latest figures reveal that the vote for leaving has edged ahead by three percentage points. A lot can change between then and now, but if it stays the same way we think that the week leading up to the Brexit vote could be awfully volatile for financial markets across the world. This could lead many to seek safe havens, and what better safe haven to jump into than gold? - Seeking Alpha
In times of turmoil, gold has by far been the most go to asset for stability and protection of wealth.  And at stake is more than simply a country looking to remove itself from a coalition that is changing rapidly from a monetary and trade union into a political and social engineering one, but a rejection of the Eurozone concept itself, and the currency created to merge Europe under a single monetary banner.

The value of gold as explained in the cost of having a baby

Those of us who are gold owners, and who have dedicated the time to studying this monetary metal, realize its purpose and significance as a protector of wealth and purchasing power.  And while many have heard the stories of how an ounce of gold would buy a nice suit and night out on the town in 1920 as well as in 2015, few perhaps have taken a hard look at comparing prices for other products and services throughout history to validate that gold is the ultimate form of money, no matter what era we live in.

The other day I came across an interesting item that comes from what we might call 'memory lane', and what struck me was just how inexpensive services were for Americans prior to when we began to inflate our money and devalue it through massive expansion.  So I decided to use it as a comparison to see if it followed the same mathematical properties we assume if I inserted gold in lieu of its dollar cost.

And the service I will use is the cost of a hospital stay in 1943 for having a baby, and the same cost for this service in 2015.

1943:

As you can see from this receipt (and after you pause from having your mind blown from how cheap it was to get medical care back then), the cost for a one night hospital stay and delivery of a child was $29.50.  And if we look at how much an ounce of gold was in 1943 denominated in dollars, the value was $35.00 per ounce.

Which means it took 84% of an ounce of gold to pay for the service of having a baby in a hospital in 1943.

2015:
Estimated average hospital childbirth facility costs per maternity stay ranged from $1,189 to $11,986, with a median of $4,215. The figures did not include professional fees for obstetricians, midwives or anesthesiologists, who generally bill separately for their services.
From this we will take the low end number since it represents an apples to apples comparison of a birth that does not incur complications and added hospital services.  So taking the value of $1,189.00 and the value of an ounce of gold last year at its height ($1,290.00), we come up with the following ratio.

$1189.00 / $1,290.00 = 92% of an ounce.

As you can see it is relatively close, with the higher price allowing for the addition of better and more quality upgrades in care that have occurred from innovation and technology.  And this is also justified in the fact that infant mortality rates have dropped to below 10 per 1000 today when in 1943 it was still as high as 90 per 1000.

The purpose behind this article was to show both how paper currencies have devalue over time because of their very nature of creating price inflation, and how gold by its very nature increases in value in relation to that same currency to keep up with any changes to inflation.  And why gold is still as relevant today for people to own to protect their wealth and savings, and will continue to be long into the future.

Got Karatbars? Jim Willie states 'Lehman Moment' now ongoing and only solution is return to gold standard

Statistician and economist Dr. Jim Willie has a long and accurate track record of financial forecasts going back to before the 2008 Credit Crisis that changed the global financial system forever.  And following the Bank of Japan's failed new policy of negative interest rates a few week's ago, and last week's failed stimulus announcement coming out of the European Central Bank (ECB), Dr. Willie reported in his latest newsletter that a new 'Lehman Event' was already underway, and the debt crisis that nearly took down the world's financial system seven years ago cannot be resolved by what central banks have done, and are doing now through zirp, nirp, and quantitative easing.

In fact, Willie's only solution to stave off the meltdown that is taking place as we watch is for a return to the gold standard, and backstopping the over $230 trillion in sovereign debts with precious metals.

A systemic Lehman event is in progress, as the global financial structure is collapsing. The only remedy is the Gold Standard installation, which is happening, but its architects are from the East. They are labeled as enemies, when the root problem is in the Western banking hive.
Following the Lehman failure, every possible wrong decision was made, in vigorous pursuit of continued fraudulent money and sustained criminal banking enterprise. To be sure, no solution or remedy or reform has been sought. What comes is a new systemic Lehman event, in a crash of the global bond, banking, and currency systems together. - Jim Willie via Silver Doctors
Interestingly, this new assessment by Dr. Willie comes just three days after the National Archives released documents tied to the 2008 financial crisis, and in them it showed that not only did the Federal Reserve not see the collapse coming, but former Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan said that the central bank was incapable for predicting any crashes despite having access to all the data, and employing hundreds of Ivy League economists.

Here is Allan Greenspan meeting with Dixie Noonan et al on March 31, 2010:
This is a reason why the Board is getting an unfair rap on this stuff. We didn’t forecast better than anyone else; we regulated banks that got in trouble like anyone else. Could we have done better? Yes, if we could forecast better. But we can’t. This is why I’m very uncomfortable with the idea of a systemic regulator, because they can’t forecast better.
This comes from the person in charge of the most powerful central bank in the world; a world which now is reliant exclusively on central bankers for its day to day pretend existence. - Zerohedge

However, several economists outside the banking system and government did forecast correctly the bursting of the housing bubble, and the subsequent credit crisis that led to the death of Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers, and resulted in a taxpayer bailout that has now run into the tens of trillions of dollars.

There are always warning signs of a coming financial event if we choose to pay attention to them, and once again we are in one of these times.  And as we see with the current crop of 'financial experts' all around the world in places like Japan, Europe, and the United States, you will never be told when the next event will take place unless you bypass the so-called experts and look to those who don't have a stake in the game like the Peter Schiff's, Dr. Jim Willie's, and Gerald Celente's of the world.

And if these signs are now screaming at us a like a flock of black swans, and the solution appears more than ever to be a return to gold to save the global economy and sovereign currencies, how can you protect yourself and your wealth when all your investments and assets are tied to a system on the brink of collapse?

You can do so with a company called Karatbars

Buying gold through Karatbars is one of the easiest things on the net.  In fact, the business model of Karatbars is to sell gold in affordable quantities, such as 1, 2.5, and 5 gram increments, and allow customers to get into the metal without having to shell out $1200+ for a single ounce coin.

And as added perks to signing up with Karatbars, as a customer or affiliate, Karatbars is working on a new e-wallet system that functions just like an offshore bank account, and is outside the authority of the banking system.  From there, you can take your fiat currency in any denomination... dollars, euros, yen, etc... and purchase physical gold which can either be delivered directly to you, or stored for free at one of Karatbar's vaults.

Additionally, any gold that you buy can easily be sold back to Karatbars, or any metals dealer, and if with Karatbars it is then exchanged for currency that is uploaded to you through a pre-loaded debit Mastercard which is connected directly to your e-wallet.  And as we know, MasterCard is recognized in nearly every country around the world, and usable in any currency that accepts it.

But perhaps the best feature with Karatbars is their affiliate program, where you can earn money off commissions from getting others to sign up and become a customer or affiliate.  Not only do you receive commissions from their purchasing of physical gold, but you also earn commissions from anyone who buys a commission package, with that money going directly into your debit MasterCard when you have enough units to cycle.

Imagine the ability to earn the money in which to buy your gold savings simply by purchasing a commission affiliate package one time, and then getting others to sign up and do the same thing.

How many businesses or entrepreneurs can build an infinite business with spending less than $400 of their own money?  And there is never a mandatory requirement to buy beyond what you desire, on your own schedule.  And there is nothing to lose, because you're using money (paper dollars) to buy gold (physical money) and in the end you don't lose a thing.

The global financial system, along with dozens of respected economists, are telling us that now is the time for the end of our current form of money, and the beginning of the transition into a new monetary system that is expected to be backed by gold.  And with banks, governments, and even Harvard professors mandating that central banks have no choice but to eliminate cash from usage by the people to stave off collapse, will you wait until it is too late to make a decision on how you will protect your wealth, and be able to function within the coming new monetary system?

Got Karatbars? Global war on cash is meaningless if you own gold

While it is rather unlikely that the U.S. would dare to eliminate cash altogether, like with guns, it is one of the last remaining freedoms that Americans would come out en masse to protest and fight for.  But the U.S. financial system is no longer simply a domestic entity, and the 21st century global economy affects every nation in one form or another.  So as the world in general rushes headlong into negative interest rates, capital controls, and a war on cash, we as Americans will be affected by their actions since we are both a creditor nation, and one that relies heavily on global imports.

Many people today are used to electronic forms of payment in both online purchasing, and in everyday shopping.  But there is a massive difference between using tools such as debit cards, credit cards, and online bill pay features as a convenience versus not ever being allowed to transport your money from one place to another should you find your bank no longer living up to your expectations, or in a more drastic scenario, insolvent and working towards a capitalization bail-in.

But the point of the matter is, all finance today is built on a debt based system of credit, and not on real or sound money.  And thus the real way to protect yourself while still having the ability to function in a world of electronic convenience is to keep your wealth in assets like physical gold, which supersede any attempts by banks or governments to limit your choices and freedoms as the war on cash escalates.
Negative interest rates?  Big deal.  Over long periods of time the relative value of gold accelerates vs. all other currencies when real rates are negative.  When the Fed takes nominal rates negative the price of gold/silver will begin to go parabolic.  Will that happen immediately?  Of course not.  The Fed will try to cap the price movement of gold with B-52 payloads full of paper gold.  When this happens, take as much cash out of the banking system as possible and convert it into physical gold and silver bullion coins.
The rampant proliferation of “war on cash / negative interest rate” warnings are little more than the childish rants of alternative media propaganda artists.   It’s like a repetitive announcement that the earth is round and circles the sun.  Yes, we know that the Government is going to digitize the currency system and take interest rates negative in an attempt to channel bank balances into consumption or the stock market or Treasury bonds.
But whatever measures the Government takes to implement capital controls and increasingly exert more control over your life can be offset if you move as much cash as possible out of the system now and into precious metals. - Dave Kranzler via Silver Doctors

Just like with Bitcoin and facilities such as Paypal, more and more business models are emerging that allow people to function outside the traditional and antiquated banking system.  And more importantly, many of these facilities and companies are structuring themselves outside the purview of governments and banks, and provide a means for people to bank, store their wealth, and above all, protect their wealth in the only money that is not affected by inflation, deflation, negative or zero interest rates and central bank or government policies.

And the best way to both function and protect yourself in this manner is with a company called Karatbars.

Got Karatbars? Pension funds on the brink as Midwestern based one slashes monthly payouts by 50% for 400,000 people

The American dream... where you work for a company or municipality for 30 to 50 years and can retire with the guaranteed promise of a sufficient pension to provide for your golden years.  Unfortunately however, that was last so last century.

Today pension funds in most sectors of industry and public service stand on the brink of insolvency through under-funding by as much as 40%, and this covers pensions managed by unions, private corporations, and municipalities.

Yet who is to blame for this under-funding or mismanagement? Americans can thank none other than Wall Street speculators, corrupt cronyism, and central bank policies for the death of their retirements.

After working 33 years, he’s facing a 55% cut to his pension benefits, a blow which he says will “cripple” his family and imperil the livelihood of his two children, one of whom is in the fourth grade and one of whom is just entering high school.
Dorsey attended a town hall meeting in Kansas City on Tuesday where retirees turned out for a discussion on “massive” pension cuts proposed by the Central States Pension Fund, which covers 400,000 participants, and which will almost certainly go broke within the next decade.
“A controversial 2014 law allowed the pension to propose [deep] cuts, many of them by half or more, as a way to perhaps save the fund,” The Kansas City Star wrote earlier this week adding that “two much smaller pensions also have sought similar relief under the law, and still more pensions are significantly underfunded.”
“What’s happening to us is a microcosm of what’s going to happen to the rest of the pensions in the United States,” said Jay Perry, a longtime Teamsters member.
Jay is probably correct.
Public sector pension funds are grossly underfunded in places like Chicago and Houston, while private sector funds are struggling to deal with rock bottom interest rates, which put pressure on expected returns and thus drive the present value of funds’ liabilities higher.
Illinois’ pension burden has brought the state to its knees financially speaking and in November, Springfield was forced to miss a $560 million payment to its retirement fund. In the private sector, GM said on Thursday that it will sell 20- and 30-year bonds in order to meet its pension obligations
"At the end of last year GM's U.S. hourly pension plan was underfunded by $10.4 billion," The New York Times writes. "About $61 billion of the obligations were funded for the plan's roughly 360,000 pensioners." Maybe it's time for tax payers to bail themselves out.  - Zerohedge
We now live in an era where people must take responsibility for their own money, and where trust and reliance upon government, brokers, and retirement planners leads only to broken promises and the potential loss of all you have saved during your years of hard work.  But this is not the end of the world, and thanks to the explosion of the internet and the rise of e-commerce, saving and building a retirement nest egg that is free from market volatility, corrupt fund managers, and central bank policies like zero or negative interest rates is now possible.
And you can do this by not only protecting your retirement, but growing it perpetually with a company called Karatbars.

Got Karatbars? Respected economist Marc Faber its past time to buy gold as markets will collapse another 40%

With every economic analyst from CNBC, Fox Business News, Goldman Sachs, and even the Bank of International Settlements, there are always agendas behind the information, data, and forecasts they provide on a given day, week, or period.  Some push stock and equity markets because their advertisers demand they speak on things that promote their companies and stocks.  Some want to keep the public in the dark so they can continue their raping of wealth from classes of people into their own coffers, and yet again, some hold investments that they want to rise in value through directing others to purchase the same.

Economists in the alternative media are not immune to this as well, but overall they are much more altruistic in their forecasts and agendas.  Companies like Goldcore, Silver Doctors, and Miles Franklin have their employees write blogs, do interviews, and promote the goodness of their products, and even here at the Daily Economist we provide opportunities in a company called Karatbars to accomplish certain things that are rarely found in the status quo of corporatocracy.

But in the end, you as a customer, investor, and seeker of value must always double check information that you come upon, and weigh it against the scales of truth versus agenda.  And that balance scale is always best comprised in putting your trust in people who have a recorded track record of accuracy, because in the end it is not the solutions we offer to protect oneself that are the most important, but the soundness of the information so that you can choose your own path on how best to protect you, your family, your business, and your future.

Economist Marc Faber is one of those individuals with a proven track record, and the financial chops to go along with his analysis.  Much more than just selling a product, Faber puts his own money on the line in investing and saving wealth according to the data and trends that he both uncovers, and sees for the future.
Marc Faber, editor of the “Gloom, Doom & Boom Report,” has advised investors that now is a good time to invest in gold  because stocks will crash over 40% and the world is on the verge of a new liquidity and debt crisis.
Faber says investors would be prudent to diversify into safe haven in gold bullion which has risen 3% this year and is currently at $1,096 an ounce.
He recently told MarketWatch that the stock-market downturn could result in stocks hitting lows not seen in five years. Faber warns that the S&P 500, which fell to 1,881 yesterday, could drop to its 2011 low below 1,200. - Goldcore

The purposes behind gold as an asset are not primarily for use as an investment or speculation, but as protection against the destruction of currencies and paper based assets like stocks, bonds, etc....  And it is the most powerful instrument in history when financial systems are transitioning from a dying one to a future one.  Our current system is based on oil and the dollar, and the agreement created in 1973 where the U.S. needed a backstop for the reserve currency following its removal from the gold standard two years earlier.  But ever since 2013, economies in the East have been pushing for an end to this 43 year old system, and it appears extremely likely that its collapse, or at the very least its diminishment, is almost an assured guarantee with OPEC moving more into China's camp.

So in the end, our current financial chaos is not about equity markets or even recessions which most nations in the world are now experiencing, but about the end of a monetary era, which has the future of who will seize control in the vacuum of this collapse up for grabs.

And which makes the owning of physical gold the one sure protection to not only survive this coming transition, but to be fully prepared to start at a strong financial level in whatever system emerges from it.

And you can do all of this with a company called Karatbars

Buying gold through Karatbars is one of the easiest things on the net.  In fact, the business model of Karatbars is to sell gold in affordable quantities, such as 1, 2.5, and 5 gram increments, and allow customers to get into the metal without having to shell out $1200+ for a single ounce coin.

Got Karatbars? Global banks telling clients to sell everything as chaos will ensue in all markets

The global stock market declines that have begun this new year have not occurred in a vacuum, and in fact are becoming serious problems for many banks and brokers who manage customer money in stock accounts.  And while some institutions like J.P. Morgan Chase are telling their clients to use the volatility in the markets to sell their positions during every rally, one major bank is taking this even further by telling their clients to...

Sell everything.

RBS has advised clients to brace for a “cataclysmic year” and a global deflationary crisis, warning that the major stock markets could fall by a fifth and oil may reach US$16 a barrel.
The bank’s credit team said markets are flashing the same stress alerts as they did before the Lehman crisis in 2008.
“Sell everything except high quality bonds,” warned Andrew Roberts in a note this week.
He said the bank’s red flags for 2016 — falling oil, volatility in China, shrinking world trade, rising debt, weak corporate loans and deflation — had all been seen in just the first week of trading.
“We think investors should be afraid,” he said. - Financial Post

We are now at a time when it is not only the alternative media that is sensing a global collapse, or at the very least a major recession, but the mainstream is now jumping on the negative bandwagon and calling for investors to protect their wealth outside of paper markets.  And as we know from 6000 years of history, when markets and currencies decline the only real safe haven is to store your money in physical gold.

Yet since most people even today cannot afford to buy gold in either ounces or kilo denominations, what alternatives are there for you to protect your wealth in gold, and have complete control and access to it anytime of day without the need or intervention of a broker, dealer, or bank?

You can do all of this with a company called Karatbars
