The Israel Deception

Is the return of Israel in the 20th century truly a work of God, or is it a result of a cosmic chess move to deceive the elect by the adversary?

Venezuela past the point of no return, expected to be next hyper-inflationary state

It has been about a decade since the last instance of true hyperinflation rocked a nation state, with Zimbabwe becoming the most recent ‘Weimar Republic’ example in the global economy.  And while their solution was to simply stop printing their local currency and transition into using dollars (and now Yuan) as their domestic medium of trade, their overall impact on the global economy was relatively negligible.
But the same cannot be said for the newest partner in this auspicious club, as the IMF reported on Jan. 22 that Venezuela is beyond the point of no return, and should enter into the realm of hyperinflation by the end of 2016.

IMF pumping out declines in global growth forecasts like central banks print money

On Jan. 19, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) cut its forecast for global growth for the third time in less than a year, validating that the largest financial centers in the world have little idea on what is actually occurring within the global economy.
The IMF’s cut follows today’s announced decline in China’s GDP, and last Friday’s Atlanta Fed announcement that they were cutting estimates on U.S. GDP growth for the quarter ending December 2015.

Got Karatbars? Global banks telling clients to sell everything as chaos will ensue in all markets

The global stock market declines that have begun this new year have not occurred in a vacuum, and in fact are becoming serious problems for many banks and brokers who manage customer money in stock accounts.  And while some institutions like J.P. Morgan Chase are telling their clients to use the volatility in the markets to sell their positions during every rally, one major bank is taking this even further by telling their clients to...

Sell everything.

RBS has advised clients to brace for a “cataclysmic year” and a global deflationary crisis, warning that the major stock markets could fall by a fifth and oil may reach US$16 a barrel.
The bank’s credit team said markets are flashing the same stress alerts as they did before the Lehman crisis in 2008.
“Sell everything except high quality bonds,” warned Andrew Roberts in a note this week.
He said the bank’s red flags for 2016 — falling oil, volatility in China, shrinking world trade, rising debt, weak corporate loans and deflation — had all been seen in just the first week of trading.
“We think investors should be afraid,” he said. - Financial Post

We are now at a time when it is not only the alternative media that is sensing a global collapse, or at the very least a major recession, but the mainstream is now jumping on the negative bandwagon and calling for investors to protect their wealth outside of paper markets.  And as we know from 6000 years of history, when markets and currencies decline the only real safe haven is to store your money in physical gold.

Yet since most people even today cannot afford to buy gold in either ounces or kilo denominations, what alternatives are there for you to protect your wealth in gold, and have complete control and access to it anytime of day without the need or intervention of a broker, dealer, or bank?

You can do all of this with a company called Karatbars

Buying gold through Karatbars is one of the easiest things on the net.  In fact, the business model of Karatbars is to sell gold in affordable quantities, such as 1, 2.5, and 5 gram increments, and allow customers to get into the metal without having to shell out $1200+ for a single ounce coin.

And as added perks to signing up with Karatbars, as a customer or affiliate, Karatbars is working on a new e-wallet system that functions just like an offshore bank account, and is outside the authority of the banking system.  From there, you can take your fiat currency in any denomination... dollars, euros, yen, etc... and purchase physical gold which can either be delivered directly to you, or stored for free at one of Karatbar's vaults.

Additionally, any gold that you buy can easily be sold back to Karatbars, or any metals dealer, and if with Karatbars it is then exchanged for currency that is uploaded to you through a pre-loaded debit Mastercard which is connected directly to your e-wallet.  And as we know, MasterCard is recognized in nearly every country around the world, and usable in any currency that accepts it.

But perhaps the best feature with Karatbars is their affiliate program, where you can earn money off commissions from getting others to sign up and become a customer or affiliate.  Not only do you receive commissions from their purchasing of physical gold, but you also earn commissions from anyone who buys a commission package, with that money going directly into your debit MasterCard when you have enough units to cycle.

Imagine the ability to earn the money in which to buy your gold savings simply by purchasing a commission affiliate package one time, and then getting others to sign up and do the same thing.

How many businesses or entrepreneurs can build an infinite business with spending less than $400 of their own money?  And there is never a mandatory requirement to buy beyond what you desire, on your own schedule.  And there is nothing to lose, because you're using money (paper dollars) to buy gold (physical money) and in the end you don't lose a thing.

The global financial system, along with dozens of respected economists, are telling us that now is the time for the end of our current form of money, and the beginning of the transition into a new monetary system that is expected to be backed by gold.  And with banks, governments, and even Harvard professors mandating that central banks have no choice but to eliminate cash from usage by the people to stave off collapse, will you wait until it is too late to make a decision on how you will protect your wealth, and be able to function within the coming new monetary system?

To learn more about Karatbars, you can contact the individual who sent you this article, and click on their referral link to open a free account and begin buying, or building your own gold savings or business with the company of the future.

France becomes second nation in a week to call for a State of Economic Emergency

Late last week the President of Venezuela announced a 60 day State of Economic Emergency as their financial situation continued to deteriorate due to the decline in oil prices.  And now on Jan. 18, the European nation of France has joined in the festivities and called for their own State of Emergency.
French President Francois Hollande issued the economic decree in an attempt to circumvent the continuing downward spirals that are affecting jobs and overall production.  And while this economic emergency is not as restrictive as the one imposed in Venezuela, it recognizes the importance of the situation in France, where Hollande will seek to work with local businesses on how to stimulate growth.

Walmart! Macy’s! When will they finally admit consumers are broke?

Only on CNBC, and in the research rooms of the big banks, could Ivy League analysts have the temerity to spin consumer spending and retail data to be a vision of unicorns and rainbows (and don’t forget the skittles).  But for those looking at information at face value, it is impossible to deny that the economy is in recession.
And one of the data points that practically assures this truth is what is happening to retailers just weeks after the end of the Christmas holiday season.

Boom! Oil falls below $30 a barrel

It has taken only 12 days into the new year for a major prognostication to take shape in the global economy as the price of oil fell below $30 per barrel in intra-day trading.
Leading up to the beginning of 2016, several analysts on both sides of the spectrum (mainstream and alternative) forecasted troubling times for the economy should oil move down into the $20’s for an extended period of time.

Recession, deflation, and shipping that has ground to a dead halt

Earlier today, Jeff Berwick, also known as the Dollar Vigilante, reported a monumental announcement from one of his sources in the shipping industry that exports and sea transport had suddenly ground to a dead halt.  This of course validates the ongoing theme that the world is in a global recession, and that central bank money printing has long past its point of diminishing returns.

To double down on Berwick's information, another source created a graphic from real time shipping itineraries and came up with something that is not only historic, but utterly heard of since perhaps the 15th century.

No commercial shipping taking place at all in a given period anywhere around the world.

As noted in this graphic, not a single commercial vessel has left port to carry cargo to another destination.
Last week, I received news from a contact who is friends with one of the biggest billionaire shipping families in the world.  He told me they had no ships at sea right now, because operating them meant running at a loss. This weekend, reports are circulating saying much the same thing: The North Atlantic has little or no cargo ships traveling in its waters. Instead, they are anchored. Unmoving. Empty.
You can see one such report here.  According to it,
Commerce between Europe and North America has literally come to a halt. For the first time in known history, not one cargo ship is in-transit in the North Atlantic between Europe and North America. All of them (hundreds) are either anchored offshore or in-port. NOTHING is moving. This has never happened before. It is a horrific economic sign; proof that commerce is literally stopped.
We checked VesselFinder.com and it appears to show no ships in transit anywhere in the world.  We aren’t experts on shipping, however, so if you have a better site or source to track this apparent phenomenon, please let us know. - Dollar Vigilante

At this point, we await CNBC with baited breath to report an actual financial news story like this one.

We are still waiting...

J.P. Morgan confirms recession signal for U.S. while also downgrading 21 emerging markets

When Wall Street and other mainstream analysts provide forecasts for the markets, one must always take them with a grain of salt since these investment banks also have skin in the game for the outcomes they prognosticate.  But at certain points in a business cycle the data becomes impossible to hide, and what is reported by these analysts can be quite accurate as to the real state of an economy.
Thus when J.P. Morgan started the year on Jan. 4 by downgrading 21 of 22 emerging markets, it appeared to be dead on as global markets fell precipitously on Monday, with some like in China declining more than 7% in a single session.

Got Karatbars? The outlook for 2016 in the economy, gold, and finance

Well, it's the end of another year and as most analysts are saying on mainstream business news this Dec. 31, the overall year was stagnant.  But since most of their rhetoric is tied primarily towards propping up stock markets, it is vital that we take a look at the alternative media for a more rounded look at what took place over the past 365 days, and what is coming in 2016.

In numerology 2016 breaks down to a year of 9, and represents a completion and ending of a cycle.  And if we go back 9 years to 2007, we saw that the financial system was ramping up and rushing headlong into a collapse that was slow to begin, but came on suddenly and swiftly with little warning in Oct. of 2008.

So with this in mind, what are many analysts forecasting for 2016, and more importantly, which information is relevant to you in determining your own course of investing, saving, and growing your business.

Doug Kass over at Seabreeze Partners predicts geo-political events in 2016 will have an extreme effect on the global economy, and in particular the expanding war on terrorist.

Terrorism Dismantles an Already Fragile Global Recovery
I fear we’ll see attacks that demonstrate how terrorism incidents are systemic and not (as the consensus sometimes believes) simply isolated. It could become apparent that we face a broad, aggressive wave of terrorism aimed (as expressed by ISIS) at defeating the West’s world domination.
Acceptance of this notion would cause significant disruption in global markets and the world’s economies. Shares in airlines, hotels, entertainment companies (especially theme-park related) might suffer the most throughout the year.
America Falls into Recession and Stocks Tank
Too much debt, too little growth, fiscal-policy paralysis, a “spent” Federal Reserve and limited capital spending (which adversely impacts productivity) weigh down stocks in 2016. So do crony capitalism, geopolitical instability a further narrowing of market leadership and a further technical breakdown.
The current U.S. expansion is now more than 70 months old, one of the longest in history. There have been six recessions since 1971, and the S&P 500’s average drop during them is 36%. I predict 2016 will see the seventh recession in the last 45 years, with stocks experiencing a 20% decline.
Few asset classes will be spared, and household net worths will suffer. Rising bond prices had the effect of somewhat buffering falling stock and home prices in the last downturn. But we won’t be so fortunate this time as stocks, real estate and bond prices will likely all decline at the same time.
Bloomberg also published forecasts for 2016 through a survey of their top analysts in a number of different companies.

IMF chief warns of ‘disappointing’ global growth in 2016
Global economic growth will be disappointing and uneven next year, said the head of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde in an article for German newspaper Handelsblatt.
“In many countries the financial sector still has weaknesses and in emerging markets the financial risks are increasing. All of that means global growth will be disappointing and uneven in 2016,” said Lagarde. - Russia Today
Market Watch: Paul Farrell
It’s time to start the countdown to the crash of 2016. No, this is not a prediction of a minor correction. Plan on a 50% crash.
Most investors don’t want to hear the countdown, will tune out. Basic psychology. They’ll keep charging ahead with a bullish battle cry, about how the Nasdaq will keep climbing relentlessly to a new record above 5,048 … smiling as they remember reading that a whopping 73 companies are now in the Wall Street Journal’s Billion Dollar Start-up Club, with Uber ($41 billion), SpaceX ($12 billion) and Snapchat ($10 billion).
Hearts race even faster reading in Bloomberg BusinessWeek that “China’s IPO Boom Mints Billionaires” and Jack Ma’s Alibaba fortune is now valued at $35.1 billion.
Yes, technology IPOs are in the lead, and with all that good news, it’s easy to understand why investors tune out, don’t want to hear the warnings, no countdown to the 2016 crash.
But the crash of 2016 really is coming. Dead ahead.

2016 is expected to be the year that China will skyrocket the use of the Yuan throughout the entire global monetary system, and put the U.S. dollar squarely in the crosshairs of viability in the reserve currency system.  And once this finally reaches a point of critical mass, then the next and final step will be a return to a gold backed system where trade currencies and even many local currencies will be funded by gold.

Many people and investors around today remember what took place following the 2008 Credit Crisis, and the subsequent Great Recession that saw taxpayer funded bailouts, and stock markets that fell over 40% in less than two years.  And with central banks out of ammunition to defend against another crash, they will not be capable of saving both markets and economies when the next crisis occurs.

But you can do so for yourself, and in the one form of money that has lasted through every crash and collapse in history.

Gold.

And you can do this with a company called Karatbars

Buying gold through Karatbars is one of the easiest things on the net.  In fact, the business model of Karatbars is to sell gold in affordable quantities, such as 1, 2.5, and 5 gram increments, and allow customers to get into the metal without having to shell out $1200+ for a single ounce coin.

Ontario becomes ground zero for citizens being asked to pay for the debts of their government

$160,000.  That is how much each American ‘virtually’ owes bondholders to cover the government’s nearly $19 trillion in national debt.  And while our taxes are the primary collateral which allows Uncle Sam to borrow from a privately owned central bank, is there a chance sometime in the future where the government may use force, coercion, or even confiscation to pay these obligations that neither you nor I volunteered for?
US-Public-Debt-per-Taxpayer-Apr-2015
The answer to that may be coming sooner than we think, as our neighbor to the North, and in particular the City of Ontario, Canada, is so deep in debt that they are now asking their own people to voluntarily donate monies outside of proscribed taxation to pay on the city’s debt before insolvency bring it crashing down.

Oil falls below $35 a barrel while natural gas drops to lowest level since 2002

Energy prices are not simply barometers of inflation and deflation, but they are also red flags that point towards recession in ways few other indicators can.  And when you couple the current declines in oil and natural gas with highs in inventories worldwide, the result is that the global economy is slowing way down, and no amount of hyperbole from the mainstream media can change this.
A few weeks ago, Dr. Jim Willie gave an interview in which he said one of his primary sources intimated that oil would eventually fall to around $20 per barrel, and this was on a day that prices were sitting around $41-42.  And in less than two weeks, the price has now fallen below $35 per barrel heading into the new year.

Got Karatbars? As the next financial crisis appears on horizon, remember this... central banks traded gold as money in 2008

Dateline December 14, 2015.  Two new financial indicators are rocking the markets just two days away from the Fed's biggest policy decision in a number of years.  First, oil prices fell to below $35 a barrel with natural gas prices falling to their lowest since 2002.  And secondly, the bond markets are starting to crack, with liquidity problems in the junk bond market eerily forecasting the 2010 crisis that led to the start of Quantitative Easing.

As you can see from the above chart, the last time oil prices were this low and liquidity problems occurred we were in the middle of the Great Recession.

Yet with all the talk over the past few years about the dollar, the Yuan, and about ongoing currency wars, one thing seems to have fallen off the radar, and that was the fact that following the 2008 October crisis, central banks began transacting not in the dollar or in their primary currencies, but instead they traded in gold.

The one real form of money.
Alan Greenspan, the venerable former Federal Reserve chairman, speaking to the U.S. Congress in 1999, said, "Gold still represents the ultimate form of payment in the world. Fiat money, in extremis, is accepted by nobody. Gold is always accepted."
In 2002, in a speech given before the Economic Club of New York, Mr. Greenspan also said, “As recently as a decade ago central bankers, having witnessed more than a half-century of chronic inflation, appeared to confirm that a fiat currency was inherently subject to excess.” He confirmed what Aristotle stated 2,500 years ago when he said, “In effect, there is nothing inherently wrong with fiat money, provided we get perfect authority and god-like intelligence for kings.” - Goldbroker
During the 2008 crisis several transactions of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) involved gold. What is significant in this is that gold is being used in international settlements again after so many decades of being sidelined in the monetary system. Gold’s old emergency usefulness has resurfaced, albeit behind closed door sat the BIS in Basel. The transactions themselves confirm that gold is being used in this manner, which is a dynamic confirmation of gold's return to the monetary system.
And perhaps it is not ironic that following the 2008 crisis, Russia, China, India, and a few other nations we now know as the BRICS began purchasing physical gold in record numbers, and have systematically moved most of the world's gold from the West over to the East.  And they have done so following the same intentions that the BIS used in their realization that fiat currencies, including the dollar, cannot function outside of a stable and controlled financial system, and are worthless in a real monetary crisis.

As we come to the end of 2015, and enter into a year where market indicators like oil, bonds, equities, and currencies are screaming that we have entered into a new recession, what potential magic tricks do the central banks have since interest rates are already at zero, and Quantitative Easing has surpassed the point of diminishing returns (see the fact we are all in a deflationary environment)?  The answer is that there is nothing left but hyper-inflation for the banks to attempt, and this, along with doing nothing short of a Jubilee reset, will stop the inevitable from happening.

So if the answer for any monetary crisis is the use of gold, and a return to a gold based monetary system as was done by the central banks themselves following the 2008 collapse, how can we as individuals protect ourselves in both the short and long terms from a complete loss of wealth, and to be on the ground floor of what the world will transition to next?  Because if you don't get your protection now, policies are being put in place where you may never be able to.

India’s Failing Gold Monetization Scheme: Seizure Imminent?
“A finance ministry official said if banks fail to win over temples, the government could intervene directly as it is looking for a big boost to the scheme to keep both imports and the current account deficit under control.” - Mises
With this in mind, there is a way to accumulate gold and protect your wealth outside the realms of banks and governments... and it is with a company called Karatbars

Got Karatbars? World's top trends forecaster Gerald Celente predicts war, economic chaos, and currency disruptions in 2016

As we near Christmas, and the final weeks of 2016, the time for economic predictions and forecasts are starting to come from both mainstream, and alternative news sources.  And when it comes to global forecasts, very few can put themselves in the same league as the undisputed leader in trends tracking, that being Gerald Celente of the Trends Journal.

On Monday, Gerald Celente sat down with USA Watchdog's Greg Hunter to discuss both current, and future trends that are coming over the horizon for 2016.  And just as Celente last year predicted the rise of chaotic geo-politics that we have and are seeing now in 2015, it will only be the precursor to even greater economic calamities, currency disruptions, and an expansion of war drums heading into next year.

Celente on the Economy
Top trends forecaster Gerald Celente says 2016 is going to be very rough. What’s coming right at us? Celente says, “Global recession, and it’s already happening, all they have to do is open their eyes and open their ears. Iron ore, copper, aluminum, nickel, zinc, one after another from wheat to dairy products to corn. When you look at the Bloomberg Index, it’s down to 1999 levels on average. What is that telling us? There is too much product and not enough demand. It’s the same thing with oil. There’s too much production and not enough demand. . . . What we are looking at is a global slowdown because commodities are the canary in the mine shaft.”
On Geo-politics and War
On global war, Celente says, “Unfortunately, when all else fails, they take us to war. Look, go back to 1929 and the market crash. You had market crashes, Great Depression, currency wars, trade wars, world war.  Voila, here we are again. Panic of ‘08, Great Recession, currency wars world war. . . . When the market collapses, the war talk will heat up.”
And on Gold and Silver
Gold and silver are running counter to other commodities. Why? Celente says, “Demand is up for gold and silver. To me, it is the ultimate safe haven. I’ve been saying since 2012 and 2013 that the bottom for gold is about $1,050 an ounce. I gave that number out because that’s about what it costs to pull it out of the ground. . . . Gold is about planning for the worst.”

So, is the spike in gold and silver demand a precursor to the next crash, which Celente is predicting to be coming soon? Celente says, “I totally believe so. . . . It’s definitely worse now. Look at the bubble they created. . . . If there is a terror strike, they will use this as the excuse to rob us to try to mitigate the disaster that they have caused. I believe they will declare a bank holiday and devalue the currency. That’s the way they are going to get us out of this.”

Besides Gerald Celente's forecast for recession and war, another alternative media economist also agrees with most if not all of these assessments, and expands upon the fragility of the economy, even as the holiday season's retail numbers pop 10% below last year's horrific outcome.
#1 On Tuesday, the price of oil closed below 40 dollars a barrel. Back in 2008, the price of oil crashed below 40 dollars a barrel just before the stock market collapsed, and now it has happened again.
#2 The price of copper has plunged all the way down to $2.04. The last time it was this low was just before the stock market crash of 2008.
#3 The Business Roundtable’s forecast for business investment in 2016 has dropped to the lowest level that we have seen since the last recession.
#4 Corporate debt defaults have risen to the highest level that we have seen since the last recession. This is a huge problem because corporate debt in the U.S. has approximately doubled since just before the last financial crisis.
#5 The Bloomberg U.S. economic surprise index is more negative right now than it was at any point during the last recession.
#6 Credit card data that was just released shows that holiday sales have gone negative for the first time since the last recession.
#7 As I mentioned yesterday, U.S. manufacturing is contracting at the fastest pace that we have seen since the last recession.
#8 The velocity of money in the United States has dropped to the lowest level ever recorded. Not even during the depths of the last recession was it ever this low.
#9 In 2008, commodity prices crashed just before the stock market did, and late last month the Bloomberg Commodity Index hit a 16 year low. #10 In the past, stocks have tended to crash about 12-18 months after a peak in corporate profit margins. At this point, we are 15 months after the most recent peak. #11 If you look back at 2008, you will see that junk bonds crashed horribly. Why this is important is because junk bonds started crashing before stocks did, and right now they have dropped to the lowest point that they have been since the last financial crisis.
If just one or two of these indicators were flashing red, that would be bad enough.
The fact that all of them seem to be saying the exact same thing tells us that big trouble is ahead.
And I am not the only one saying this. Just today, a Reuters article discussed the fact that Citigroup analysts are projecting that there is a 65 percent chance that the U.S. economy will plunge into recession in 2016… Author Robert Kiyosaki: ‘Biggest’ Market Crash Likely in 2016 Author Robert Kiyosaki: ‘Biggest’ Market Crash Likely in 2016 Important: Can you afford to Retire? Robert Kiyosaki, best-selling author of “Rich Dad, Poor Dad,” warns that stock market manipulation may result in a crash bigger than in 2007. Gold and silver have crashed. Junk bonds have crashed. Chinese stocks have crashed. The Global Economy Is Officially Melting Down - Investment Watchblog

All predictions and forecasts are never written in stone, and quite often the hit rates on many of these can be around 50% or less.  But of the analysts who publicly make economic forecasts each year for investors, companies, and even the general public, Gerald Celente, Peter Schiff, and Dr. Jim Willie are by far the most accurate in their assessments, and have a proven track record of predicting the last major financial crisis more than a year before it occurred in 2008.

So if recession, global wars, currency collapses, and threats to the dollar are on the horizon for next year, what is the best way for you to be prepared no matter what happens inside the U.S., or in markets and currencies within the entire global financial system?

With physical gold from a company called Karatbars.

Fed trapped on rate hike decision as U.S. is in recession no matter how you spin the numbers

On Dec. 5, two interesting data points that are indicating that the U.S. is now in a recession has the Federal Reserve trapped by their own rhetoric and deceptions.  First, exports by U.S. companies dropped to a three year low as they fell ‘unexpectedly’ due to a stronger dollar and less consumerism from country’s already in their own economic downturns.  In addition, a new forecast by J.P. Morgan Chase put recession at a 76% probability, despite the so-called low unemployment numbers and near record stock market values.
Thus for the central bank, to raise rates now pushes an economy already in recession into much greater straits as there is no current indication that we have any asset inflation of note, and a rate raise would be a meaningless gesture since very little of the Fed’s trillions in Quantitative Easing (QE) ever went towards growth and real economic recovery.

One of three major black swans could trigger dollar collapse

In this month’s commentary from the Hat Trick Newsletter, Dr. Jim Willie reveals three potential black swans on the near horizon that could trigger a collapse of the dollar, and even the entire Western banking system.
Nearly all three are tied in some fashion to the price of oil, and the derivatives that are tied to these contracts which are held by most of the major Western banks.  In addition, the decline of economic activity and subsequent recessions in emerging markets have the potential as well to expand the globe’s current deflationary environment, and usher in any number of defaults that range between $6 and $11 trillion.

Got Karatbars? Gold buying increasing following Paris terror attack and other ongoing crises

The world is changing, and in just a short period of months global security has been shattered politically, militarily, and economically.  And after a weekend that saw terrorism hit the West in a most spectacular and horrific way, security appears in short supply everywhere you look.

Ever since Y2K, the attack in New York on 9/11, and the 2008 banking collapse, the need for crisis preparation has never been greater in the minds of people around the world.  And despite the changes implemented by governments in their attempts to protect citizens from terrorists in their own backyards, and from a banking system that very nearly collapsed just seven years ago, responsibility and security always rests with the true First Responders, and that happens to be us.
The price of gold might be falling, but private individuals are buying record amounts of the precious metal, and as fears grow about the outlook for the global economy the long term attraction of gold remains.
The strength of the US dollar and the threat from rising interest rates have made it a tough year for gold. The yellow metal was down 9pc last week to reach a five-year low at $1,083, and that marks a 43pc fall from the all-time high of $1,900 reached in 2011.
However, the fundamentals, characteristics and attractions of gold are undiminished because we remain in times of extreme intervention by governments around the world, and for thousands of years gold has been the best insurance during times of uncertainty.
This theory was proven in the latest report from the World Gold Council that showed bar and coin demand increase by 33pc during the third quarter to 295.7 tonnes, led by a 70pc year-on-year increase in Chinese investment. UK demand for owning physical bars and coins jumped 67pc to 2.5 tonnes. - The Guardian

This weekend alone saw three game changing events that will create a new paradigm for not only individual nations, but for the world in general.  The terror attacks on Paris are sure to galvanize the West into engaging in a full blown conflict to take out ISIS and re-arrange the Middle East while at the same time the head of the IMF called for China's currency to be brought into the SDR basket of currencies.  And all this occurred at a time when both Japan and Europe entered into a new recession, and where the entire European Union is at a crossroads because of the refugee crisis.

Prudent prepping calls for having enough resources on hand to last through any crisis or event for between 3, 7, 30, 60, or 120 days, and to be prepared for any contingency that may occur from natural disasters, war, or something financial.  And when it comes to financial preparedness, you must have three parameters checked off to be fully prepared.

1.  Cash on hand, and out of the banking system.
2.  Gold and silver on hand in case the currency collapses, or the banks and ATM's close down.
3.  Wealth stored offshore in case a government decides to confiscate your wealth, as was done in 1933 via Executive Order, and in 2010 under the Dodd-Frank banking reform bill.

And what is the best way to achieve two of these three necessities?

With a company called Karatbars.

Dollar reaches a nexus as death cross points trend downward for foreseeable future

Back in March, the dollar was the most wanted currency in light of the Greek crisis, and ongoing currency wars raging between dozens of countries.  In fact, the U.S. reserve currency was perceived as such a safe haven that it sat at over 100 on the index, with nations moving large amounts of their currencies into the dollar to hedge themselves from local and geo-political turmoil.
But as the U.S. markets peaked in May, and began a slide downward over the summer, trust in the dollar has waned, especially as the Chinese Yuan began to take market share in global trade.  And on Oct. 14 the dollar reached a disturbing nexus that could foretell an even greater trend downward as it created a death cross for the first time since 2013.

Got Karatbars? Bank of America now changing tune and forecasting gold breakout in 2016

The Fed deciding back in September not to raise interest rates is proving to be a watershed moment for the markets as the most recent economic data has validated their choice to hold off on raising rates for the foreseeable future.  And instead of simply jawboning that interest rate hikes are coming, which has been their M.O. for almost a year now, chances are more likely that the U.S. central bank will be forced to implement a new round of quantitative easing in the face of a new recession that is probably already in our midst.

And in a rather interesting turn of events, Bank of America over the weekend just put out a new forecast in which they not only project will be beneficial towards gold, but does the unthinkable and is questioning the Fed's credibility to be able to deal with the economic turmoil that is coming.

Neither deflation nor inequality has hindered the bull market on Wall Street in recent years. On the contrary, QE policies to end deflation & spark employment have been very beneficial to asset prices. But now:
The perception of unfair globalization, gilded elites & inauthentic politicians is leading to a rise in both populist politicians (Trump, Sanders, Corbyn) and parties (SNP, Syriza, Podemos, National Front) and…
…calls for the Fed to raise rates to boost the elderly’s return from saving are becoming louder…
…and the fragile improvement on Main Street is threatened by a stalled global economy in 2015.
If the secular reality of deflation & inequality is intensified by recession & rising unemployment, investors should expect a massive policy shift in 2016. Seven years after the west went “all-in” on QE & ZIRP, the US/Japan/Europe would shift toward fiscal stimulus via government spending on infrastructure or more aggressive income redistribution. And seven years after China went “all-in” on fiscal stimulus, a shift toward QE/rates/FX to support activity would be likely in the east.
And finally, getting to the point of this post, this is how Hartnett says investors should trade this "massive policy shift":
…buy TIPs, gold, commodities, Main Street not Wall Street, China small cap
This new policy mix (which would be in response to recession & Quantitative Failure) would be most positive for TIPS/gold/commodities, for Main Street rather than Wall Street plays (e.g. mass retailers versus luxury), and for Chinese small cap. These are the assets bears should accumulate if markets head to new lows. - Zerohedge
Interestingly as well, this assessment about gold was corroborated by Australia's largest investment bank over the weekend.
Finally, we most certainly agree that the catalyst to unleash the "endgame" cycle will be some "combination of a major accident in several asset classes and/or sharp global slowdown." But long before that even, keep an eye on gold: having provided a tremendous buying opportunity for the past 4 years because for some idiotic reason "conventional wisdom" decided that central banks are in control, have credibility and can fix a problem they created and make worse with each passing day, soon the global monetary debasement genie will be out of the bottle, and not even the entire BIS trading floor will be able to suppress the price of paper (as physical gold has not only decoupled from paper prices but long since departed on a one-way trip to China) for much longer.

So with interest rates not expected to be raised until at least 2017 by some forecasters, and the likelihood of a new and more massive QE program being the only alternative in the face of a new recession, how is the best way to protect your wealth from a new paradigm of dollar devaluation, and the chance that the U.S. currency may lose even more ground against the rise of a new gold backed global reserve?

The answer lies in a company called Karatbars

Buying gold through Karatbars is one of the easiest things on the net.  In fact, the business model of Karatbars is to sell gold in affordable quantities, such as 1, 2.5, and 5 gram increments, and allow customers to get into the metal without having to shell out $1200+ for a single ounce coin.

It appears that the Fed is now done propping up markets as S&P; 500 hits its Death Cross

It has been 10 days since the now famous Federal Reserve interest rate announcement, with the markets having reacted as if Janet Yellen had not said a word.  For in the past when the Fed spoke of raising interest rates, a decision to keep them near zero had always resulted in a new sweep of buying that brought the markets to new all-time highs.  But after equities reached their apex in back mid-May, more than 2000 points have dropped from the Dow index alone, and the S&P 500 on Sept. 28 crossed down below the dreaded Death Cross which may have signaled that the central bank ‘Yellen Put’ may have finally ended in the bank’s policy of propping up stocks.

Stock market and corporate earnings might have been final straw for Fed’s rate decision

Since the Fed made its shocking no-call last week on its decision whether to raise interest rates, analysts have been not only questioning the true state of the economy, but also have been insinuating that the central bank’s credibility may be completely shot.  But as we look at new data coming out on corporate earnings, especially those on the S&P 500, their declines year over year (yoy) coupled with global and domestic stock markets being in sudden free fall may have been the reasons why 11 months of interest rate rhetoric was instantly thrown out the window.
Profit growth for the S&P 500 companies is at its weakest point since 2009. That’s because, in fact, there isn’t any profit growth.
S&P 500 earnings for the first half of the year are expected to show a 0.7% contraction compared to a year ago, according to numbers from FactSet research. Growth in the first quarter was a meager 1.1%, but the second quarter is more than offsetting that, expected to contract at a 2.2% rate, FactSet estimates. The last time the S&P 500 saw a year-over-year decline for the first half of a year was 2009, when earnings positively cratered at the depths of the global recession, down 30.9%. - Wall Street Journal via Zerohedge
