The Israel Deception

Is the return of Israel in the 20th century truly a work of God, or is it a result of a cosmic chess move to deceive the elect by the adversary?

Following the Fed rate hike and spike in the dollar, the gold price spread between London and China soars to $50

Gold prices were once again beaten down in the United States following the Federal Reserves decision on Dec. 14 to raise rates by .25 bps in only the second move by the central bank in the last decade.  And while gold was sold off on Wednesday as well as early Thursday morning in New York, markets in Shanghai have not followed the same path as those in London and the Comex.

In fact with the London AM Fix coming out just a few hours ago, the price spread between the physical and paper markets have now spiked to a record $50 difference.

As mentioned earlier this week in another article, the divergence in official prices are also being expanded by record amounts of premiums placed upon gold by the market makers in China.  In fact, according to analyst and statistician Dr. Jim Willie, the premiums necessary to purchase large quantities of gold have forced prices right now to exceed $2000 per ounce in the physical markets.

As the dollar continues to strengthen the price of gold in nearly all other currencies and markets will continue to rise, and in some cases break through record levels.  And what we are seeing right now in the price of gold out of both London and the Comex is not indicative of the record demand being created all across the world which is the primary basis between the spreads in price we are seeing between the London fix and the one coming out of Shanghai.

Gold spread between London and Shanghai now $36 as premiums in India and China reach 50% over price

The gold price spread between the London paper markets and the Shanghai physical markets continues to climb as the divergence between China's PM fix and London's AM fix reached $36 on Dec. 13.

Shanghai Gold Fix

London Gold Fix

Yet these prices are not truly indicative of what is really going on in the physical markets since the bullion banks crushed down the spot price following the election of Donald Trump back on Nov. 8.  This is because geo-political and economic events in both India and China have caused demand to surge immensely over the past month, and dealers and jewelers in both countries are incorporating premiums sometimes as high as 50% over the designated price.

Last week saw news of reported gold import curbs in China (and looming capital controls) has sent gold premiums in China near three-year highs amid limited supply of the precious metal (as Reuters reports)...
The import curbs may be part of China's efforts to limit outflows of the yuan after the currency's slide to its weakest in more than eight years, traders say. China allows only 15 banks to import gold, including three foreign lenders.
"There is severe restriction on the banks' quota to import gold into China. Each one of them have to justify their need," a Hong Kong-based banker said.
Gold was sold in China at about $24 an ounce above the international spot benchmark this week. Premiums went as high as $30 last week, the most since January 2014, according to Thomson Reuters data. - Zerohedge
Over in India the shortages and demand are much more extreme, with premiums skyrocketing as government officials threaten consumers and dealers with cuts to imports, and even outright confiscation.
In November the country's gold imports jumped to around 100 tonnes, the highest in 11 months.
Jewellers and bullion dealers are deferring purchases and gold imports in December could fall to 30 tonnes, down from 107 tones in the same month a year ago, said a Mumbai-based dealer.
It is estimated that one-third of India's annual demand of around 800 tonnes is paid for in "black money" - the local term for untaxed funds held in cash by citizens that do not appear in any official accounts.
And this has sparked a surge in physical demand (amid limited supply concerns)... (as Reuters reports)
There have also been reports of people rushing to buy gold by paying as much as a 50 percent premium above official prices using their unaccounted money to skirt the note ban.

Demand for gold in the U.S., China, and India on fire as lack of trust in currencies signal a new coming crisis

In just the past month, and especially since the Nov. 8 Presidential election, the demand for gold throughout the world has increased at a rapid pace.

We have already documented the intense scramble for gold in India over the past three weeks as Prime Minister Modi began implementing the banning of some cash, and the institution of capital controls. But even with the selling off of gold in the Western paper markets that has seen the spot price drop by more than $200 in the past four weeks, it has done nothing to effect the physical gold markets where premiums have spiked to three year highs, and where a record number of U.S. gold eagles have been sold just in November by the U.S. Mint.

Graphic courtesy of SRS Rocco Report
Investment demand for Gold Eagles surged during the last day in November pushing sales to a new monthly record.  Not only did Gold Eagle sales for November reach a new record high for the year, it surpassed sales during the same month last year by 52%.
It seems as if investors are once again taking advantage of lower gold prices.  I had planned to publish the article on Wednesday (last day of the month) showing that November sales hit a new record high, but the U.S. Mint updated their figures yesterday reporting another 20,000 Gold Eagles oz were sold on the 30th.
So, as of Nov 29th, the U.S. Mint Gold Eagle sales reached a new high for the year of 127,500 oz.  Then they sold another stunning 20,000 oz in one day for a total of 147,500 Gold Eagle oz for November: - SRS Rocco Report
Over in China the process to exchange dollars for gold has shifted into high gear as the country that runs the world's largest physical gold market dumped hundreds of billions of dollars worth of Treasury reserves and used them to import nearly 1,000 tons of gold in just in the last quarter.  And premiums at the Shanghai Gold Exchange have soared to well over $30 per ounce as seen by the spread enacted between the Shanghai and London AM/PM price fixes.

While paper gold traders can't seem to dump the precious metal fast enough, physical gold demand is soaring around the world. India retail premiums are spiking (amid demonetization), local China premiums soar to a 3-year-high (as capital controls loom), and coin sales from the US Mint have risen for the 4th straight month, accelerating post-election to the highest since July 2015 since Trump's victory at the election.
Following the initial panic-buying across India after Modi's demonetization effort shook the nation's faith in fiat currency (sending local gold premiums soaring), news of reported gold import curbs in China (and looming capital controls) has sent gold premiums in China near three-year highs amid limited supply of the precious metal (as Reuters reports)...
The import curbs may be part of China's efforts to limit outflows of the yuan after the currency's slide to its weakest in more than eight years, traders say. China allows only 15 banks to import gold, including three foreign lenders.

When a market or sovereign government manipulates the price of a commodity, security, or equity contrary to the demand of that asset, the end result is always the same... a run on those assets similar to the way a populace would rush to clean out a grocery store in the advent of a natural disaster.  And as nearly all global currencies start to be rejected by their people in lieu of this year's concerted efforts to ban or restrict the use of cash, the worldwide run on gold appears now to be in full swing, and only 1% of the global population is aware of it.

Got Karatbars? Billionaire hedge fund manager Paul Singer says everyone should be 5-10% in gold

Paul Singer is a world renowned bond fund manager, and a force that has even taken Argentina to the brink regarding sovereign bonds his fund owns.  But as the paper asset markets begin to hemorrhage, including stocks, bonds, and even the dollar, the billionaire hedge fund manage is now telling everyone that there is a different asset they need to be in.

That asset is gold.  And in your portfolio or wealth savings the metal needs to make up at least 5-10% of your money.
“In a world where the value of paper money is affirmatively aimed at being degraded by central bank policy, it’s kind of surprising to me that gold can’t catch a bid,” the billionaire and member of Bloomberg Markets 50 Most Influential said at a conference in Tel Aviv on Wednesday. “I like gold. I believe its under-owned. It should be a part of every investment portfolio, maybe five to ten percent.”
Singer took aim at monetary policy makers for a staggered economic recovery from the 2008 financial crisis, and what he called the "cult of central banking" in which investors turn to regulators such as Janet Yellen and Mario Draghi to solve the ills of the global financial system. And while those policies have "levitated" bond and equities, Singer is surprised by how little the investors he meets with own gold.
Every institutional portfolio should be 5-10 percent invested in gold to protect against zero interest rates that are degrading the value of paper currency, Elliott Management Chief Executive Paul Singer said on Wednesday.
Gold was the one tradable asset that has been "treated unfairly", he said at the Sohn Investment Conference, adding that his fund holds gold through options.
"Gold is the only real money," Singer said. "Gold would do well if people felt they needed some real asset to protect against inflation, government policy and/or diversification from stocks and bonds." - Zerohedge
Singer's comments in Israel comes on the same day the dollar reached a 'Death Cross', where its 50 day moving average crossed below its 200 day average.  A death cross is often an indication that an asset is on a downward trend, with this technical indicator not occurring for the U.S. currency since 2013.

Gold prices have been climbing in relation to the dollar, Yen, and Euro since the market downfall back in late August, and along with silver, is being bought by the ton by major banks like J.P. Morgan and HSBC.  And with new expectations of at least $1200 per ounce by the end of the year, and projections of $1400 by the end of next year, the mainstream is slowly changing their tune on gold after years of talking it down, and shorting it in the Comex futures market.

Yet for most people, being able to afford gold at near $1200 per ounce is most often unattainable.  And with few options open since shortages at dealers and brokers are leading to premiums on the spot price of sometimes more than 30%, how can you protect your assets and your wealth in the metal that has proven its value worldwide for over 5000 years?

The answer lies in a company called Karatbars

Buying gold through Karatbars is one of the easiest things on the net.  In fact, the business model of Karatbars is to sell gold in affordable quantities, such as 1, 2.5, and 5 gram increments, and allow customers to get into the metal without having to shell out $1200+ for a single ounce coin.

And as added perks to signing up with Karatbars, as a customer or affiliate, you can have the power to move your money into a free e-wallet that functions just like an offshore bank account, and is outside the authority of the banking system.  From there, you can take your fiat currency in any denomination... dollars, euros, yen, etc... and purchase physical gold which can either be delivered directly to you, or stored for free at one of Karatbar's vaults.

Additionally, any gold that you buy can easily be sold back to Karatbars, or any metals dealer, and if with Karatbars it is then exchanged for currency that is uploaded to you through a pre-loaded debit Mastercard which is connected directly to your e-wallet.  And as we know, MasterCard is recognized in nearly every country around the world, and usable in any currency that accepts it.

But perhaps the best feature with Karatbars is their affiliate program, where you can earn money off commissions from getting others to sign up and become a customer or affiliate.  Not only do you receive commissions from their purchasing of physical gold, but you also earn commissions from anyone who buys a commission package, with that money going directly into your debit MasterCard when you have enough units to cycle.

Imagine the ability to earn the money in which to buy your gold savings simply by purchasing a commission affiliate package one time, and then getting others to sign up and do the same thing.

How many businesses or entrepreneurs can build an infinite business with spending less than $400 of their own money?  And there is never a mandatory requirement to buy beyond what you desire, on your own schedule.  And there is nothing to lose, because you're using money (paper dollars) to buy gold (physical money) and in the end you don't lose a thing.

The global financial system, along with dozens of respected economists, are telling us that now is the time for the end of our current form of money, and the beginning of the transition into a new monetary system that is expected to be backed by gold.  And with banks, governments, and even Harvard professors mandating that central banks have no choice but to eliminate cash from usage by the people to stave off collapse, will you wait until it is too late to make a decision on how you will protect your wealth, and be able to function within the coming new monetary system?

Got Karatbars? Fed rate announcement is followed by even more shortages in gold supplies

On Sept. 17, the Federal Reserve made the announcement heard 'round the world as the U.S. central bank signaled to the world that the global economy is in such dire straits that they couldn't even raise interest rates by .25 from their current levels of zero percent.  This immediately sent shock waves to other central banks as just a day later, calls for new rounds of money printing took place out of the Bank of England, the ECB, and even banks from Australia, with suggestions of even greater policies such as negative interest rates and ending cash altogether being included in their commentary.

Yet for those who have been reading this blog, or other alternative financial sources, the banks have not been blind to what the media has been telling the general public regarding the economy, the dollar, and the overall global financial system.  And as we have seen over the past few months, accumulation of available gold and silver has led to massive shortages that now even threaten to empty the GLD fund which backstops the paper gold markets.
While the drain of COMEX gold and silver Registered inventories continues as demand for physical precious metals increases, JP Morgan experienced a 45% decline of its Registered Gold Inventories in one day.  JP Morgan now only has a lousy 10,777 oz of gold remaining in its Registered gold inventories.
Basically, JP Morgan holds 1/3 metric ton of gold in its Registered inventories.  This is the reason we are seeing the paper gold ratio on the COMEX above the 250/1 ratio.  If we look at the COMEX warehouse table below, we can see just how little Registered Gold remains on the exchange: - SRS Rocco

This report represents all the gold in all U.S. banks backstopping the paper futures contracts, and has helped skyrocket the paper to physical ratio to 250:1.  Which of course then begs the question, how long can the Comex or GLD survive when it has 250 demands on every ounce of gold it claims to hold in the vaults?

Knowledge of this weakness in supply, and the continuing failure of the global financial system has spilled out into the retail sector as premiums of gold coins from dealers is growing precipitously as demand has now reached historic all-time highs.

HSBC described gold demand from the U.S. Mint as being at a “historically high level” which indeed it has been. The bank report that the Mint has sold 322,000 ounces of gold in the first half of this month.
Of this, only 91,000 ounces were made up of Gold Eagle coins - the most popular coin with retail investors - although some market participants believe that some of the stock may be being accumulated by large institutional investors.
And yet, demand for gold eagles is still very strong with demand in Q3 set to dwarf demand of the previous two quarters. With two weeks still to go, total Gold Eagle coin sales have been a staggering 352,500 ounces. - Goldcore
So why has there been a run on gold (and silver) not seen since the 1980's by primarily bullion banks, and consumers who are in fear of what is coming?  An interesting interview by the Dollar Vigilante Jeff Berwick may shed some light on this, and point towards the complete collapse of the dollar as the culprit.

So with dealers, banks, and even sovereign mints running out of supplies at the same time prices are soaring in the physical markets, what alternatives and options are available for you to not only protect your wealth, get it out of the banks and outside the dollar, while at the same time having the power to keep it stored in a physical asset like gold?

The answer lies in Karatbars

Besides Obamacare premiums, Medicare monthly costs set to rise by 34%

There are several truths in life… death, taxes, and the inability of Congress to pass legislation that is actually beneficial to the American people.  And with our welfare and benefit system growing from a safety net scheme 70 years ago, to now a massive boondoggle encompassing nearly two-thirds of the entire annual budget, eventually something had to crack, and it is coming this time in potentially new increased costs for Medicare premiums for those stuck in fixed incomes.
Nearly a third of the roughly 50 million elderly Americans who depend on Medicare for their physician care and other health services could see their premiums jump by 52 percent or more next year. That’s because of a quirk in the law that punishes wealthier beneficiaries and others any time the Social Security Administration fails to boost the annual cost of living adjustment.
Unless Congress or Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell intervenes, an estimated 15 million seniors, first-time beneficiaries or those currently claiming dual Medicare and Medicaid coverage will see their premiums jump from $104.90 per month to $159.30 for individuals, according to an analysis by the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College. Higher-income couples would pay multiples of that increase. - Yahoo Finance

Gold shortages so bad the spot price is meaningless as premiums reach 30-40%

When investors and the general public realize that the U.S. based Comex spot price for gold and other precious metals is a meaningless indicator, then demand for the monetary metals may eventually skyrocket as they are predicted to do after this Sunday’s vote in Switzerland over a gold referendum and return to the gold standard.  But until then, only major buyers of the metals know the dirty little secret that could be worth thousands or millions of dollars to the quick.

And that is, gold shortages are now so great that premiums for large purchases are upwards of 30-40% above the manipulated spot price that issues daily from the Comex and from London.

Federal Reserve branch bank concludes Obamacare a disaster for businesses

Each month, branch banks for the Federal Reserve send out questionnaires and surveys to businesses as a way to test the climate of the economy.  In the month of August, the Philadelphia branch asked businesses what the full extend and effect so far from the new Affordable Healthcare Act (Obamacare) was, and the responses they received were a disaster.  In the majority of responses, businesses either let go of employees to adjust to the higher costs imposed upon them by the Federal government, moved full time employees to part time status, or, changed benefit plans so that employees would be forced to pay more towards their premiums.
