The Israel Deception

Is the return of Israel in the 20th century truly a work of God, or is it a result of a cosmic chess move to deceive the elect by the adversary?

New York realtors using Bitcoin to fuel the real estate bubble

Never let it be said that businesses and investors will ever be short of opportunities to spend their money, especially in this era of Fed induced cheap currency.  Like foreign and domestic casinos that allow gamblers to bet on such esoteric things like what time the newest heir to the throne of England would be born, to Wall Street firms opening a bond fund to speculate on the success of ex-convicts, people with money will always be willing to seek profits when standard markets no longer look good.

So it should come as no surprise that a real estate broker in New York City is jumping on the Bitcoin bandwagon, and opening up a new channel for home buyers in the realm of luxury housing to use the digital currency to expand the re-inflated housing bubble and keep the exuberance going.

Haves an have nots: NY City has most homeless children since Great Depression

At a time when Wall Street is experiencing the greatest accumulation of wealth in the history of mankind, just across the road in urban New York City, homeless children being left on the street is at the greatest numbers seen since the time of the Great Depression in the 1930′s.
According to the New York Times, the last time there was this many homeless children in New York City was during the days of the Great Depression.  And the number of homeless children in the United States overall recently set a new all-time record.
As I mentioned yesterday, there are now 1.2 million public school kids in America that are homeless, and that number has gone up by about 72 percent since the start of the last recession.  As Americans, we like to think of ourselves as “the wealthiest nation on the planet”, and yet the number of young kids that don’t even have a roof over their heads at night just keeps skyrocketing.  There truly are “two Americas” today, and unfortunately most Americans that live in “good America” don’t seem to really care too much about the extreme suffering that is going on in “bad America”.  In the end, what kind of price will we all pay for neglecting the most vulnerable members of our society? -Economic Collapse Blog

NYC: Where you can't buy a large coke but can spend welfare on strippers

It appears that the financial capital of the world, New York City, is not immune to the ignorance of most of government in understanding where true priorities lie.  While Mayer Bloomberg spends time and taxpayer money going after individuals who want to drink a large coca-cola, he and the rest of the city are turning a blind eye to welfare recipients who are spending even more taxpayer money on booze, strippers, and gay club nights out.

In a new investigation by the New York Post on Jan. 6, numbers of food stamp and EBT card users were found to have spent their free government money not on food and diapers, but on booze, strippers, bars and even x-rated video shops.

Welfare recipients took out cash at bars, liquor stores, X-rated video shops, hookah parlors and even strip clubs — where they presumably spent their taxpayer money on lap dances rather than diapers, a Post investigation found.

A database of 200 million Electronic Benefit Transfer records from January 2011 to July 2012, obtained by The Post through a Freedom of Information request, showed welfare recipients using their EBT cards to make dozens of cash withdrawals at ATMs inside Hank’s Saloon in Brooklyn; the Blue Door Video porn shop in the East Village; The Anchor, a sleek SoHo lounge; the Patriot Saloon in TriBeCa; and Drinks Galore, a liquor distributor in The Bronx.

The state Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA), which oversees the “cash assistance program,” even lists some of these welfare-ready ATMs on its Web site.

As Congress and President Obama continue to fight over saving a few nickels and dimes from a nearly $4 trillion Federal budget, and Mayor Bloomberg decries on national television that the country should pay for Hurricane Sandy cleanup, the bottom line is that when it comes to holding voters, err welfare recipients responsible for their government money, it is much easier to scream class division than it is to enforce fiscal responsibility on those who do not work, and have no inention of doing more than milk the system.

Gibsmedat update: Food stamp user cuts retailer for not selling him alcohol with EBT card

The Daily Economist is starting a new periodical called the Gibsmedat update.  The first update, concerns a food stamp recipient who slashed a retailer in New York City with a knife because the cashier would not sell him alcohol using his EBT card.

Official Gibsmedat Currency
A drunken man reportedly slashed a Brooklyn clerk’s face after being told he couldn’t use food stamps to buy a bottle of beer.

“Sell it to me,” the suspect told Ali. “Don’t get me mad.”

The suspect was described as a black man between the ages of 25 and 30 with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black jeans and a white T-shirt. -

History shows that people do not respect what they don't earn, and as time has passed, food stamp usage has gone from a few needy Americans in poverty, to now over 46 million.  It is no longer a stigma, but the mainstream, and as such, the respect for welfare benefits has moved into the realm of gibsmedat.

Mayor Bloomberg channels his inner Communist for new housing in New York City

Mayor Bloomberg, the 1%er who has made his billions and now feels he has the right to dictate how New Yorkers can live their lives, is channeling his inner Communist as he seeks to create housing for the future.  That housing plan, would no longer be about quality of life in the financial capital of the world, but rather a segmented according to your needs project that would limit your available space to 300 square feet.

A pilot project slated for construction in Manhattan's Kips Bay section will feature rental apartments ranging from 275 to 300 square feet (26-28 square meters) with kitchens and bathrooms, the mayor's office said in a statement.

Bloomberg explained it was "critical to the city's continued growth, future competitiveness and long-term economic success" to develop "housing that matches how New Yorkers live."

"People from all over the world want to live in New York City, and we must develop a new, scalable housing model that is safe, affordable and innovative to meet their needs." - Telegraph.co.uk

Housing for citizens ACCORDING TO THIER NEEDS.  Interesting choice of words for a capitalist, and the city leader who feels its his duty to force people to limit their intake of coca-cola products.
Outside the attempts to create commune style dormatories and call them livable spaces, Mayor Bloomberg is willfully, or ignorantly following in the United Nations plans of Agenda 21, which advocate in one of their planks for sustainable development in high density urban areas.
Welcome to the global third world comrades!  Your choices are being made for you by power elites who live like kings, but feel you should live according to your limited needs.
