Only 27 percent of Americans trust banks and the media, and nearly all institutions rank in bottom 30 percent

A new Gallup poll out on June 14 shows that very few Americans have any faith in their core institutions, with banks and the media registering near the bottom of the people’s trust.
In the decade since the start of the housing crisis and subsequent bank bailouts, trust in America’s financial system has fallen from 49% in 2006, down to just 27% in 2016.  And other institutions like the media have dropped to below even that percentage as only 20% of Americans trust their news outlets to provide them the truth and correct information.

New Gallup Poll shows most Americans feel China a more powerful economy than the U.S.

There is a reason why Presidential candidates like Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders are making powerful strides in the 2016 election cycle, and it is something that the mainstream fails to recognize.  And despite all the rhetoric and false data used over and over to tell the American people how good and strong their economy is, average citizens are rejecting this propaganda and making their views known in many different ways.

Rope a dope: As Obama signs gun control actions, most Americans find government the problem, not guns

In George Orwell’s famous novel 1984, the concept of changing the definition of words to their opposite was the prime way to make people malleable to the will of the government.  Terms such as War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, and Ignorance is Strength are just some of the programming done by tyrannical governments to acquire allegiance from people.
In the real world, this type of programming is being done in such measures as President Obama’s new gun control Actions, which throw away all real data and instead make gun ownership an emotional issue, similar to political correctness.  But perhaps in an even bigger diversion, the government is trying to make guns an issue in the eyes of the public when in fact, it is the government itself that is the biggest issue on the minds of Americans.
In a new Gallup Poll out on Jan. 4, the most important problem facing America is not guns, which ranked 19th out of 23 categories, but the government itself, and the inability of government to function correctly and to deal with the problems facing America financially, socially, and geo-politically.

Even Americans no longer see themselves as the global economic superpower

In a new Gallup Poll out on March 2, only 17% of Americans believe that the U.S. is the world’s number one economy that reigns globally as the primary economy superpower.  In fact, 80% of those polled believe the U.S. is just one of many economic powerhouses, validating that that integrated global system is now a daily reality in the American psyche.
