The Israel Deception

Is the return of Israel in the 20th century truly a work of God, or is it a result of a cosmic chess move to deceive the elect by the adversary?

Chicago’s historic gun violence a consequence of economics, not too many guns

It is probably no coincidence that the location which spawned both Barack Obama’s Presidential bid, and his former Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel who now serves as its current mayor, is suffering a combination of economic collapse and historic violence among its citizens and government agencies.  And while liberal diatribe attempts to incorrectly call the mass number of homicides occurring within Chicago a symptom of too much gun ownership, the reality is that the rise in violence can be primarily attributed to economics, and the same type of debt bombs stifling growth in places like New Jersey, Baltimore, and Detroit.

Ratings agency downgrades Chicago as years of bad fiscal policies with pensions comes home to roost

One of the biggest problems with the majority of politicians coming from the lawyer class is that they have little idea about fiscal responsibility and economics, or any understanding of the consequences that come from promising the world to voters in order to get re-elected.  In fact, Washington is not only known for trying to buy votes from constituents with ever increasing benefit programs, but they are the also the poster child of robbing Peter to pay Paul when it comes to things like stealing from the Social Security Trust to pay for new programs.
Municipalities are not immune to this paradigm as well, with many liberalized cities having chosen the path of egregious fiscal policies which are now coming home to roost as their budgets run deficits that place them on the cusp of insolvency.  And perhaps the biggest culprit in this is the City of Chicago, who after years of making pension promises they couldn’t hope to keep are on the verge of being downgraded to junk status and out of options when it comes to paying out benefits to retirees.

Collusion and rate rigging by major banks the focal point of a new civil class action lawsuit

With the Department of Justice and U.S. regulators failing to stop fraud and corruption in the banking system following the 2008 Credit Crisis, it provided the banks a free ticket and ‘get out jail free’ card to continue their criminal activities unabated.  This of course led to more than a dozen instances of fraud and collusion in market mechanisms such as Forex, Libor, money laundering, robo-signing, the gold and silver markets, and many more.

But since the ones charged by Congress and the White House to oversee the banking system not only failed in their duties, but in many cases aided in the fraud, it is now up to the investment arm of the Chicago Teacher’s Pension and Retirement Fund to file a class action lawsuit against most of the major U.S. banks for their part in rate rigging and manipulation, and for the losses incurred by the pension fund because of this fraud.

Illinois can’t pay on pensions but they found money to do gun buybacks

Yesterday, the Fitch rating agency downgraded Illinois credit to just above junk status by lowering their rating to BBB+ in light of their budget issues which are making the Mid-Western state unable to pay on pension and lottery obligations.  But despite the legislatures inability to pass an appropriations bill leading into 2016, on Oct. 19 Mayor Rahm Emmanuel was somehow able to find $250,000 for a new gun buyback programs to appease Obama’s call for new gun control mechanisms.
The city of Chicago, along with much of the state of Illinois, is one of the worst places for gun violence despite some of the toughest gun control laws in the country.  But like most liberal policies, results and data are meaningless as long as the ideologies of demagogues are able to be imposed on the people.

Chicago heading down the path of Detroit as budget shortfall may now close schools

Since the city of Detroit became the poster child for failed industrial cities in the U.S., several other major municipalities have also succumbed to degradation and mismanagement.  One in particular, the city of Chicago, has not only been dropped to junk bond status by Moody’s for their corporate bonds, but now they are in trouble of having to suspend or close down schools because of major budget shortfalls that have already hit their pension systems.
Chicago Public Schools—with 394,000 students and nearly 21,000 teachers—has closed more than half of a projected $1.1 billion shortfall through cuts, borrowing and other means, but is looking to the state to come up with the rest. The school board warns of deep cuts later this year if Illinois, which faces its own fiscal crisis, doesn’t deliver an additional $480 million in the coming months, representing roughly 8% of annual district spending.

Chicago liberals can't stop gun violence so instead they will tax it

Chicago has become a war zone, with criminal and gang elements killing each other and regular citizens at an alarming rate.  The Mayor, legislature, and police have been unable to do anything about it over the past two years, so their newest solution is to institute a tax on both guns and ammunition.

Image of old machine gun tax stamp

Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle will submit a budget proposal Thursday that calls for a tax of a nickel for each bullet and $25 for each firearm sold in the nation's second-largest county, which encompasses Chicago.

Preckwinkle's office estimates the tax will generate about $1 million a year, money that would be used for various county services including medical care for gunshot victims. Law enforcement officials would not have to pay the tax, but the office said it would apply to 40 federally licensed gun dealers in the county. - MSNBC

Presumably, after the Supreme Court shot down the cities draconian attempts to deprive citizens in Chicago of their second ammendment rights to own firearms, they are choosing to take it to the next level and try to raise the price beyond the ability of people to protect themselves.

For decades, the city of Chicago has been a town run by a political machine, which uses community organizer associations (like the one Barack Obama was a part of), to control the people and ensure votes are made to keep the machine in power.  Thus gun ownership within the city is seen a threat to the machine, and since they are unable to quash it entirely, taxing it like a vice appears to be a good way to dissuade ownership, as well as milk the citizens for extra money.  Chicago is massively in debt, and holds a huge budget deficit for this fiscal year, even as they have one of the highest sales tax rates in the country.

The cost of a nation banning guns for their citizens

Recently, Austrailia became the latest politically correct country to ban a major assortment of guns from their citizens.  In the short amount of time since the ban, and public destruction of those firearms, crime has exploded with murders, home invasions, physcial assaults climbing more than 50% in each sector.

Here is a video breakdown of societal destruction once Austrailia banned firearms for their citizens.

Unfortunately, politicians are more interested in absolute control over their citizens than for public safety.  In the city of Chicago, where ownership of firearms is extremely controlled, the municipality had 8 murders last weekend alone, and was named the most dangerous city in America.

City of Chicago unwittingly funds gun camp for youth

Back in the day, ingenuity and critical thinking was a mainstay of the American education system.  Through progressive policies and a dumbing down of students, the ability to profit from given situations is fewer and far between today.

Just look at our government and the economic crisis.

However, a studious group of gun owners and dealers found a way to not only provide young people in the Chicago area a way to learn about guns at camp, but to use Chicago's draconian polices of firearm buy backs to actually fund the instruction.

A pro-gun group claims it flipped the script on Chicago's firearms buyback program by selling old, broken rifles to the city and then using the money to buy guns and ammo for an NRA-sponsored shooting camp for kids.

"Guns Save Life," based in Champaign, Ill., recently sold 60 firearms to the Chicago Police Department -- 10 of which were manufactured before 1898 -- in exchange for $6,240 in gift cards, according to group president John Boch. The sale also included five BB guns and a rickety pump-action shotgun that was held together by duct tape and zip ties, he said.

"The real delicious irony here is that the city of Chicago is paying for rifles that we're giving away to young people as part of this camp," Boch told FoxNews.com. "The program was intended to get unwanted and unused guns off the street to make the community safer. We provided them unused and unwanted guns." - Fox News

So while Rahm Emmanuel and the progressives continue to think that removing guns from law abiding citizens will slow down their horrendous crime and violence rates, intelligent people in Illinois will be teaching and proving that it is the law abiding citizen, and their ABILITY under the constitution to have guns for protection, that will in the end, save many more lives than government policy will.
