The Israel Deception

Is the return of Israel in the 20th century truly a work of God, or is it a result of a cosmic chess move to deceive the elect by the adversary?

The myriad of economic predictions and forecasts for 2016

Whether it is the mainstream or the alternative medias, economic and financial predictions are part and parcel for the final week of a given year.  And perhaps what is humorous for the average reader is how dichotomous these forecasts can be, with one side always predicting good times for the economy, and the other side lamenting collapse.
So rather than picking and choosing who is more accurate or cogent on an individual basis, this year we will post a number of different forecasts from a number of different sources and look back a year from now and see who was on the ball, and who was full of garbage.

Ammunition now plentiful one year after mass shortages

About a year ago, ammunition shortages were causing fear and panic in the gun community, especially after news came out of the Department of Homeland Security’s purchase of over one billion rounds for government use.  Additionally, the continuous message being made to honest Americans by politicians like President Obama, former NYC Governor Michael Bloomberg, and a host of others that new gun laws and restrictions were headed down the pike, caused many of the 90 million strong gun owners to hoard ammunition for fear it would no longer be plentiful.

But as with all crisis, fear and panic normally dies down once the media stops reporting on a topic, and the politicians move onto other agendas.  And as we can see from the most recent gun show held in Reno, NV on Aug. 17, ammunition was not only widely available, but prices had fallen more than 50% from their highs just 12 months ago.

Bad year for Bloomberg as court declares ‘stop and frisk’ policy unconstitutional

First it was his attempted ban on soda pop that got shot down by the courts, and now on Aug. 12, Mayor Bloomberg received his next piece of bad news as a New York district court declared the city’s ‘stop and frisk’ policy not just discriminatory, but unconstitutional.
Maybe he has hope for his attempts at gun banning in other states… uh not there either.

Bloomberg expanded: New York cracks down on use of butter

It is bad enough when an elected official, and part of the 1%, tries to tell citizens when and where they can smoke, and how much soda they can drink.  But now, the dictatorial control over the people in New York has taken a greater turn as officials begin regulating the use of butter in food production for schools and other public facilities.

Butter has quietly been making its way out of city schools' cafeterias, including as a condiment and an ingredient. First they went after the candy machines. Then they took aim at the sugary sodas. And most of the bake sales. And the greasy french fries at lunchtime. And now the latest target of the city schools’ push to fight childhood obesity is something as simple as butter. The spreadable delight has been banned from school cafeterias. It can’t be used for cooking or offered with bread. And now it’s the subject of an aggressive crackdown that threatens the livelihood of school kitchen managers who’ve dared to order the illicit treat.  - New York Daily News

In the faux war on obesity, uneducated public bureaucrats have focused on natural products such as butter, sugar, and salt to impose unnecessary controls over the citizens of New York. while at the same time, doing nothing to stop the scientifically proven detriments of MSG, GMO, and HFCS, who's introduction into the processed food industry over the past 40 years has been the primary cause of childhood, and adult obesity.

In the end, corporate mogul's like Bloomberg, and political hacks like those in the New York legislature, find it easier to blame and go after nature, and what has been used in diets for thousands of years, than take on the corporations that fund their campaigns, and willingly cause continuing aggravation for the people of New York state.

Mayor Bloomberg channels his inner Communist for new housing in New York City

Mayor Bloomberg, the 1%er who has made his billions and now feels he has the right to dictate how New Yorkers can live their lives, is channeling his inner Communist as he seeks to create housing for the future.  That housing plan, would no longer be about quality of life in the financial capital of the world, but rather a segmented according to your needs project that would limit your available space to 300 square feet.

A pilot project slated for construction in Manhattan's Kips Bay section will feature rental apartments ranging from 275 to 300 square feet (26-28 square meters) with kitchens and bathrooms, the mayor's office said in a statement.

Bloomberg explained it was "critical to the city's continued growth, future competitiveness and long-term economic success" to develop "housing that matches how New Yorkers live."

"People from all over the world want to live in New York City, and we must develop a new, scalable housing model that is safe, affordable and innovative to meet their needs." - Telegraph.co.uk

Housing for citizens ACCORDING TO THIER NEEDS.  Interesting choice of words for a capitalist, and the city leader who feels its his duty to force people to limit their intake of coca-cola products.
Outside the attempts to create commune style dormatories and call them livable spaces, Mayor Bloomberg is willfully, or ignorantly following in the United Nations plans of Agenda 21, which advocate in one of their planks for sustainable development in high density urban areas.
Welcome to the global third world comrades!  Your choices are being made for you by power elites who live like kings, but feel you should live according to your limited needs.

Food stamp usage by Americans reach another new high

While the Federal Reserve can print money out of thin air, it almost seems now the Federal Government can print food stamps the same way.  The sad part is, they now have to as the newest report from the USDA SNAP program shows another increase in Americans on the dole for food stamp benefits, with the number soaring over 46 million in March.

Last month, when the USDA released the latest foodstamps numbers for the month of February, there was some hope that following a third month of declines, we may just have seen the peak of US foodstamp usage and going forward we would only see the number decline. Sadly, the latest numbers refutes this: in March a total of 46,405,204 persons were at or below poverty level and thus eligible for foodstamps, a 79K increase in the month. - Zerohedge

No jobs, no home, but an EBT card to buy all the stuff Michelle Obama and Mayor Bloomberg want to eliminate from the American diets.

A look back at the ultimate gold bug - Mr. T

We don't know if many remember, when last year Mr. T made an appearance on Bloomberg to promote gold, and his affiliation with a gold purchasing company and Gold Promise, but unknowingly or not, Mr. T. was a gold bug long before it became hip and trendy to own it in large quantities.

Mr. T. says that at its maximum, he wears up to 45 pounds of gold around his neck.  Since he bought most of it in the early 1980's, after the crash of the gold markets, estimates put his total cost of the metal at around $43000.

Today however, if you were to sell 45 pounds at the current price in 2011, his investment would be worth $1,209,600.

Of course, this doesn't begin to speak of the publicity value that Mr. T. has gained over the past 30 years by being an icon for his mohawk, and wearing gold that makes rappers today look shabby.

European leadership helping to grow confusion in debt crisis

Over the past month, the European leadership, which includes Merkel, Sarkozy, Trichet, and Junker, have tossed rumors at the market of a bailout, settlement, or plan to deal with the ongoing debt crisis overwhelming the West.

However, it appears that these rumors never become substantiated, and in many cases, contradict one another, which adds to the confusion.  The only real conclusion investors and the public can make of this is:

Europe has no idea at all on how to deal with the crisis, and they are simply trying to kick the can down the road for as long as possible.

Look at these two diametrically opposed articles on Bloomberg yesterday.

The question isn't which article is correct.  The realization is that Sarkozy and Merkel are clueless and should keep their opinions to themselves... for the more they speak, the more Europe burns.

Why you cannot trust financial analysts

Yesterday on CNBC, fund manager Barton Biggs just yesterday said that the market is set to climb 7-9% and rally going forward.

Whooooops!

And like a child who was caught with stolen candy in his pocket, Biggs today on Bloomberg TV came out and said he was wrong and that his guess... and thats ALL these analysts can ever do is GUESS... was not only too early, but now he has NO IDEA on when the bottom may come in.

All we can say for Barton Biggs, Jim Cramer, and any other meaningless talking heads.
