The Israel Deception

Is the return of Israel in the 20th century truly a work of God, or is it a result of a cosmic chess move to deceive the elect by the adversary?

World's top trends researcher Gerald Celente sees global financial system collapse right now

In a new interview with Shadow of Truth on Jan. 28, the world's top trends researcher Gerald Celente forecasts a global system collapse in the financial realm, and events such as Friday's negative interest rate move in Japan validate that banks are past the point of no return for saving the economy.

In fact, there are already rumors abound from analysts on the U.S. Federal Reserve that negative interest rates are on our own horizon, meaning any money or assets stored in banks will soon be subject to taxation/fees to force savers into spending before their dollars lose too much value.

It also means that the world is on the verge of systematic capital flight, with gold and silver being the most liquid, tangible, and valuable asset to own and hold.

Another Goldman Sachs banker involved in financial scandal

With Goldman Sachs representatives running high government positions all across the globe, it is not surprising when the bank gets caught being involved in financial scandals with foreign leaders and governments.  From the now European Central Bank head Mario Draghi regarding his involvement in the masking of Greek debt to get them into the Eurozone, to the former Prime Minister of Italy’s Mario Monti, who did the same for that country’s entry into the coalition, the banking firm has its tentacles in nearly every seat of power in the world.
So when a scandal broke in Malaysia earlier this month regarding their state run wealth fund, chances were good that the bank involved in the alleged fraud was none other than Goldman Sachs.
And it was.

Helicopter Ben goes to Switzerland as people to vote on getting monthly government payouts

It is becoming more and more apparent that the entire global financial system is rushing headlong into a titanic collapse sometime in the future, and governments along with central banks are willing to do anything to extend it as far as it can go.  This of course means that at certain points along the way they need to use more and more drastic measures in order to stimulate spending.
Starting late in 2015, and continuing so far into the first part of the new year,  these ‘drastic measures’ are starting to hit mainstream.  And besides the growing talk about negative interest rates, and banning or ending the use of physical cash, the last resort scheme in the arsenal of those in power is right now knocking on the door, and is being looked at strongly in Northern European country’s like Norway and Switzerland.
And that last resort scheme is the direct distribution of cash to the people.

Negative interest rates, free money... central banks are showing by their new policies that we are near the end

On Friday the Bank of Japan entered into the deep shark infested waters of negative interest rates (NIRP), signalling that they have no other option but to force people to spend their savings or lose it to fee based confiscation.  And for those that think Japan is simply a lone wolf in the global economy, negative interest rates have already emerged in several European countries desperate for inflation.

But NIRP is not the only scheme being concocted by governments and banks to force people to spend their money instead of saving it.  In Switzerland on Jan. 29, a referendum was issued for the people to vote on whether their government should outright give each adult $1700 Euros and each family the equivalent of $2500.00 to stimulate growth and inflation in the midst of an emerging meltdown.

And like the use of price controls in 3rd world banana republics, the end result of giving out free money based on increased debt is price inflation to the point where eventually the entire system will collapse upon itself.

GDP for 4th quarter comes in below 1%, and would have been negative without forced Obamacare tax

Although we have mentioned it several times, the primary factors that make up U.S. GDP are consumer spending, and government spending.  Combined these two categories within the Gross Domestic Product account for 85% of the total production numbers.
GDP Breakdown
So when 4th Quarter GDP growth came in at less than 1% on Jan. 29 (.69%), it validated that sales over the holiday shopping season were incredibly dismal, and that consumers are close to tapped out when it comes to buying products in the economy.

Got Karatbars? London metals price fix breaks threatening the West's future ability to determine prices

Besides being used to determine daily spot prices for gold and silver, the London/Comex price fix mechanism is also used to settle large trading positions between big banks and investors, and at what price the brokers purchase metals from the originating miners.  And on Jan. 28, this mechanism broke right at the time of the daily 'fix', sending silver shooting downward prior to the open when such contracts are settled.

According to Saxo Bank, which participates heavily in the daily metals price fix, this 'flash crash' was not a mistake, and threatens the entire integrity of the London and Comex price determination for commodities such as gold and silver.
At the time of the auction, which begins at 12 noon London time, the spot price was at $14.42 per ounce while the futures price on the CME was at $14.415, leaving a number of market participants extremely confused as to what has happened.
“The LBMA Silver Price is established through a transparent electronic auction mechanism designed to adjust the price until there is equilibrium between buy and sell orders,” a CME spokesman said.
“Given the orders placed in the auction today by five participants, the buy and sell orders became balanced after 29 rounds and the LBMA Silver price was established at a price of $13.58,” CME added.
The difference between silver price and futures prices was nearly six percent but the benchmark cannot be changed, a second person familiar with proceedings told FastMarkets.
“Unfortunately, it’s not [a mistake],” Ole Hansen, head of commodity strategy for Saxo Bank, told FastMarkets. “This could be the end of the fix. It took 14 minutes to find a fix – they obviously found a fix way off of the market.”
Another source also suggested that the continued existence of the fix has been put in jeopardy by the huge discrepancy in today’s price, adding that many producers – who still use the price as their daily reference – may have lost significant amounts of money if any contracts have been settled according to the fix. – Bullion Desk

Flash crash at LBMA after London Price Fix breaks

Of course what is at stake is the credibility for London and New York to continue to be the gatekeepers for determining gold and silver prices, especially as China is expected to announce their own price mechanism as early as April.  And when this occurs, gold sellers from central banks to the miners themselves will be enticed to leave the confines of the manipulated London price fix and make China the new capital for gold, silver, and all monetary metals... and at a much higher price.

The West for the past five years have used the Comex and London Fix to protect the dollar and suppress the true price of gold and silver as a way to mask the effects of money printing, quantitative easing, and zero interest rates.  And a loss of their ability to control prices would suddenly put all currencies in the West in peril, and open the floodgates for a complete lack of confidence in the dollar.

So if the processes that have controlled the price of gold for over a century are starting to break down, and a new gold pricing mechanism is waiting in the wings to take over price discovery, what is the best way for you to protect yourself from a dollar or euro collapse, and to be in at the ground floor of some of the lowest prices in gold that will occur in our lifetimes?

You can do this with a company called Karatbars

Buying gold through Karatbars is one of the easiest things on the net.  In fact, the business model of Karatbars is to sell gold in affordable quantities, such as 1, 2.5, and 5 gram increments, and allow customers to get into the metal without having to shell out $1200+ for a single ounce coin.

And as added perks to signing up with Karatbars, as a customer or affiliate, Karatbars is working on a new e-wallet system that functions just like an offshore bank account, and is outside the authority of the banking system.  From there, you can take your fiat currency in any denomination... dollars, euros, yen, etc... and purchase physical gold which can either be delivered directly to you, or stored for free at one of Karatbar's vaults.

Additionally, any gold that you buy can easily be sold back to Karatbars, or any metals dealer, and if with Karatbars it is then exchanged for currency that is uploaded to you through a pre-loaded debit Mastercard which is connected directly to your e-wallet.  And as we know, MasterCard is recognized in nearly every country around the world, and usable in any currency that accepts it.

But perhaps the best feature with Karatbars is their affiliate program, where you can earn money off commissions from getting others to sign up and become a customer or affiliate.  Not only do you receive commissions from their purchasing of physical gold, but you also earn commissions from anyone who buys a commission package, with that money going directly into your debit MasterCard when you have enough units to cycle.

Imagine the ability to earn the money in which to buy your gold savings simply by purchasing a commission affiliate package one time, and then getting others to sign up and do the same thing.

How many businesses or entrepreneurs can build an infinite business with spending less than $400 of their own money?  And there is never a mandatory requirement to buy beyond what you desire, on your own schedule.  And there is nothing to lose, because you're using money (paper dollars) to buy gold (physical money) and in the end you don't lose a thing.

The global financial system, along with dozens of respected economists, are telling us that now is the time for the end of our current form of money, and the beginning of the transition into a new monetary system that is expected to be backed by gold.  And with banks, governments, and even Harvard professors mandating that central banks have no choice but to eliminate cash from usage by the people to stave off collapse, will you wait until it is too late to make a decision on how you will protect your wealth, and be able to function within the coming new monetary system?

To learn more about Karatbars, you can contact the individual who sent you this article, and click on their referral link to open a free account and begin buying, or building your own gold savings or business with the company of the future.

Donald Trump is the Jared Vennett from The Big Short

The meteoric rise of Donald Trump onto the political spectrum has confused, flustered, and even astounded an establishment who believes that they have programmed the masses enough to always vote and accept their way of leadership, no matter how far into chaos these leaders have taken us.  And despite the fact that Trump has a history of flip-flopping on issues to accommodate what he feels the public itself is thinking on and below the surface, every time the mainstream feels he goes to far in his rhetoric or actions he keep gaining more support from the people.
And yet there is perhaps a parallel to Donald Trump’s cult of personality inside a fictional character named Jared Vennett from the movie, The Big Short.  And it is not necessarily the integrity of both men that is enticing to those desiring deep down who want to change the way things on Wall Street and in Washington are going, but it is their message that so many have been afraid to ask or act upon due to herd mentality and fear of humiliation that is leading many to jump on their bandwagon.

Double whammy: Influx of immigrants into Europe are job seekers moving into recessionary markets

By now most intelligent people have realized that the influx of millions of ‘refugees’ into the Eurozone are not casualties of the Syrian conflict, but opportunists seeking better economic conditions than what they had in their Middle Eastern or East European country’s.  And what makes this disaster even greater is that these ‘job seekers’ are coming at a time when most of Europe is falling into a economic recession and rising unemployment.
Yet despite the obvious, and the overwhelming evidence that many of these refugees care little about the laws of the nations they are flocking into, government leaders appear to be impotent in dealing with the immigrant problem, as well as protecting their own people and economies from this takeover.

Hedge funds and big players are buying gold behind the scenes as the metal is the best performing currency of he 21st century

The world is in the process of rejecting fiat currencies.  In China, investors and inhabitants are trying to get out of the Yuan as fast as possible.  And in a most interesting dichotomy, Bitcoin was the best performing currency of 2015.

However, all of these pale in relation to gold, which is by far the best performing currency in the entire 21st century.
Since the beginning of the 21st Century, as people awoke to Y2K that did not end the world, there has been one 'currency' that has outperformed all its peers in terms of preserving wealth and maintaining purchasing power...

Goldman Sachs fined only $5.1 billion for causing 2008 financial crisis

It pays to know the right people when it comes to most things in life, and this axiom cannot be said any better for the financial institution known as Goldman Sachs.  Seven years ago, the bank that feeds executives into the highest levels of government and central banks should have gone bankrupt and disappeared like Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers.  But thanks to one of their own being in the position of U.S. Treasury Secretary, not only was the financial institution bailed out with taxpayer money, they also were the only bank to receive 100 cents on the dollar for their toxic assets tied with insurer AIG.
And now in 2016, regulators within the government have finally decided to make Goldman pay for their involvement in nearly bringing down the entire global financial system by quietly giving them a slap on the wrist, and imposing a meager $5.1 billion fine for their actions.

France ready to lead the way for Europe in removing sanctions against Russia

One of the more interesting items to come out of Davos it appears is a friendlier attitude toward Russia and their leader Vladimir Putin by European powers.  And with Britain and France already breaking protocols with NATO recently over the ISIS threat, the question that is rising is whether Europe as a whole is ready to break away from their long standing affiliation with U.S. foreign policy.
On Jan. 24, France’s Minister of the Economy announced that the Eurozone nation is going to work towards ending sanctions imposed upon Russia, and attempt to facilitate an agreement throughout the EU to bring an end to the economic proxy war the U.S. started with Russia over Ukraine.

Got Karatbars? As stocks fall into Bear market levels, and economies fall into recession, gold is moving once again

Ownership of gold has always meant different things to different people.  In India for example, it is not only an important part of everyday culture, it is also where most people hold their wealth in the form of jewelry.  In fact, it is estimated that Indian households own over 20,000 tons of gold, at an current value of around $950 billion.

But in the U.S. and Europe, gold ownership fell following its removal from currencies in 1971, and even the Internal Revenue Service categorizes physical gold simply as a collectible, and not as an investment or money.  And the mania that drove gold prices up to $1980 just a few years ago was built on fear of the financial meltdown that occurred in 2008 when stocks, bonds, and debt threatened to collapse the entire banking system.

Yet that philosophy is now changing, and especially since early 2015.  And with gold and even silver purchases exploding from hedge funds, banks, and a growing coalition of citizens, shortages have been created that have not only stabilized gold prices at a strong bottom, but have secured support to where these prices are beginning to rise despite the concerted effort of the government to depress them in the paper markets.  And as falling stocks, bonds, the fear of a global recession, and the failing confidence in central banks begins to accelerate, gold is once again becoming the one asset to own as wealth protection is now more important than chasing yields, or trying to invest in chaotic markets.
The $15 trillion rout in global equity markets since May is reawakening the lure of gold for investors seeking safety.
Hedge funds and other large speculators more than doubled their net-long position in bullion last week, just three weeks after they were the most-bearish ever. Investor holdings of gold through exchange-traded products are expanding at the fastest pace in a year, and the value of the ETPs has jumped by $3 billion in 2016. - Bloomberg Business News

Ownership of precious metals have always been a mainstay of a diversified portfolio until brokers and money managers chose to eliminate this option and push investors and retirees into strictly paper based assets.  But the problem today is that all that paper is tied to the dollar, and what happens if the dollar itself is the thing to collapse as many analysts are predicting will happen in the coming months or years?  Because the collapse of the dollar would make all these investments and retirement accounts insolvent, worth zero, or at the very least lose 40-70% of their value as the replacing currency would have to be devalued to accommodate the massive amount of debt owned by Wall Street and the Federal government.

So how can you be assured in protecting your wealth and owning affordable physical gold in a way that protects you from all market chaos, and from any potential currency collapse?

You can do all of this with a company called Karatbars

Buying gold through Karatbars is one of the easiest things on the net.  In fact, the business model of Karatbars is to sell gold in affordable quantities, such as 1, 2.5, and 5 gram increments, and allow customers to get into the metal without having to shell out $1200+ for a single ounce coin.

Did the new X Files program reveal the truth of where the world is headed in energy as elites dump oil holdings?

Since the middle of 2014, the 'Masters of the Universe' have been quietly divesting themselves of their oil shares and holdings, leading to the most recent revelations that Saudi Arabia is planning to make public their crown jewel corporation Aramco.

And what makes this even more astonishing is that these elite controllers of the world's lifeblood are doing so when the price and the market is near rock bottom.  This is a sure sign of capitulation and wanting to get out at any price.

So what might be the only reason that the Rockefellers and the House of Saud would even consider giving up this power, wealth, and control?  Perhaps the newest reincarnation of the X Files which aired on Sunday night could give a clue.

In some recent interviews, Dr. Jim Willie has mentioned that Russia has quite possibly achieved stable cold fusion, which would make the use of petroleum and 'fossil fuels' obsolete.  And while this information is based on insider sources, and not announced in the general public, the only validation we have is to see what the elite are doing in regards to energy, and as the old axiom goes, follow the money.

Following Davos, Norway’s biggest bank calls for an end to the use of cash

As the annual World Economic Forum in Davos ended on Friday, the ‘Masters of the Universe’ returned home to enact some of the many topics they discussed on finance and the global economy.  And in accordance with the growing trend among the elites to ban the use of cash in the marketplace, the biggest bank in Norway on Jan. 23 raised their voice and joined in with the trend.
Norway had long been a poster child for fiscal responsibility, with nearly a trillion dollars stored away for their people from oil revenues in their North Sea production.  However, it is because of these same oil prices, and in particular their year long decline, which has led the Norwegian economy to suffer greatly and look for alternative ways to protect against capital flight.

TTIP losing traction as Brits debate its lack of transparency

One of the biggest lies in President Obama’s tenure was how he promised and promoted himself as the most transparent executive in U.S. history.  But seven years later, not only has that been uncovered to be a fallacy, but many of his actions and programs have also been administered under the cover of secrecy, and as many Americans are finding out to their detriment.
Thus with Europe suddenly shifting into a rebirth of activism and rebellion against the establishment, secrecy is the one commodity that no longer carries any weight with the people… and especially in Great Britain.  And perhaps the best example of this is a new report out that shows the British government is not very keen on the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) since it is enveloped in so much secrecy that both legislators and the public have no idea what is really in it.

Venezuela past the point of no return, expected to be next hyper-inflationary state

It has been about a decade since the last instance of true hyperinflation rocked a nation state, with Zimbabwe becoming the most recent ‘Weimar Republic’ example in the global economy.  And while their solution was to simply stop printing their local currency and transition into using dollars (and now Yuan) as their domestic medium of trade, their overall impact on the global economy was relatively negligible.
But the same cannot be said for the newest partner in this auspicious club, as the IMF reported on Jan. 22 that Venezuela is beyond the point of no return, and should enter into the realm of hyperinflation by the end of 2016.

Global elite flock to Davos in a failed attempt to stop markets from collapsing

Yesterday marked the end of the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and saw the world's elite and central bankers discussing plans for how to deal with an economic meltdown that former BIS Chief Economist William White called, 'worse than in 2007'.

Yet even with ECB head and former Goldman Sachs banker Mario Draghi stick saving the markets on Thursday and Friday with more rhetoric of new rounds of money printing, the core fundamentals of the global economy remain on a course for total meltdown.

In all the fear over lower oil prices, few are talking about its impact on the dollar

When the U.S. signed its 1973 agreement with the House of Saud to peg oil to the dollar, few tended to realize that the opposite would be true, and that the dollar itself is intrinsically tied to oil and the price of this commodity.  It is one of the reasons why Kissinger had the Saudi’s (and OPEC) increase the price three fold so that this inflation would allow the U.S. to then increase the nation’s money supply by having the House of Saud put all of their reserves in U.S. debt instruments (Treasuries).
But as the use of debt and credit began to expand, and eventually reach exponential growth due to central banks choosing the Keynesian road over sound monetary policies, it put the dollar on a fragile precipice that then relied upon oil and other asset prices to remain high to keep the spigot going enough to be able to both roll over the growing debt, and to ensure confidence that in desired times they could increase that debt with little opposition.
However, following the Credit Crisis of 2008 confidence in the dollar began to crack, and eventually lead to an ever growing rejection of the reserve currency by nations who have been forced to devalue their own currencies to remain sustainable.  And this worldwide increase in debt has not only brought about a global point of diminishing returns (see the need for negative interest rates by some), but it has also killed real economies who’s consumers can no longer spend at the rates they were over the past two decades.

Got Karatbars? Respected economist Marc Faber its past time to buy gold as markets will collapse another 40%

With every economic analyst from CNBC, Fox Business News, Goldman Sachs, and even the Bank of International Settlements, there are always agendas behind the information, data, and forecasts they provide on a given day, week, or period.  Some push stock and equity markets because their advertisers demand they speak on things that promote their companies and stocks.  Some want to keep the public in the dark so they can continue their raping of wealth from classes of people into their own coffers, and yet again, some hold investments that they want to rise in value through directing others to purchase the same.

Economists in the alternative media are not immune to this as well, but overall they are much more altruistic in their forecasts and agendas.  Companies like Goldcore, Silver Doctors, and Miles Franklin have their employees write blogs, do interviews, and promote the goodness of their products, and even here at the Daily Economist we provide opportunities in a company called Karatbars to accomplish certain things that are rarely found in the status quo of corporatocracy.

But in the end, you as a customer, investor, and seeker of value must always double check information that you come upon, and weigh it against the scales of truth versus agenda.  And that balance scale is always best comprised in putting your trust in people who have a recorded track record of accuracy, because in the end it is not the solutions we offer to protect oneself that are the most important, but the soundness of the information so that you can choose your own path on how best to protect you, your family, your business, and your future.

Economist Marc Faber is one of those individuals with a proven track record, and the financial chops to go along with his analysis.  Much more than just selling a product, Faber puts his own money on the line in investing and saving wealth according to the data and trends that he both uncovers, and sees for the future.
Marc Faber, editor of the “Gloom, Doom & Boom Report,” has advised investors that now is a good time to invest in gold  because stocks will crash over 40% and the world is on the verge of a new liquidity and debt crisis.
Faber says investors would be prudent to diversify into safe haven in gold bullion which has risen 3% this year and is currently at $1,096 an ounce.
He recently told MarketWatch that the stock-market downturn could result in stocks hitting lows not seen in five years. Faber warns that the S&P 500, which fell to 1,881 yesterday, could drop to its 2011 low below 1,200. - Goldcore

The purposes behind gold as an asset are not primarily for use as an investment or speculation, but as protection against the destruction of currencies and paper based assets like stocks, bonds, etc....  And it is the most powerful instrument in history when financial systems are transitioning from a dying one to a future one.  Our current system is based on oil and the dollar, and the agreement created in 1973 where the U.S. needed a backstop for the reserve currency following its removal from the gold standard two years earlier.  But ever since 2013, economies in the East have been pushing for an end to this 43 year old system, and it appears extremely likely that its collapse, or at the very least its diminishment, is almost an assured guarantee with OPEC moving more into China's camp.

So in the end, our current financial chaos is not about equity markets or even recessions which most nations in the world are now experiencing, but about the end of a monetary era, which has the future of who will seize control in the vacuum of this collapse up for grabs.

And which makes the owning of physical gold the one sure protection to not only survive this coming transition, but to be fully prepared to start at a strong financial level in whatever system emerges from it.

And you can do all of this with a company called Karatbars

Buying gold through Karatbars is one of the easiest things on the net.  In fact, the business model of Karatbars is to sell gold in affordable quantities, such as 1, 2.5, and 5 gram increments, and allow customers to get into the metal without having to shell out $1200+ for a single ounce coin.

Former Chief economist for the BIS says economy is now worse than in 2007

For more than two years, economists in the alternative media have been warning of a coming economic meltdown that would be worse than the Credit Crisis of 2008 simply because the debts are much bigger, and the underlying problems that led to that crisis have never been addressed.  And now in early 2016, more and more mainstream analysts are jumping onto this bandwagon, with the former Chief Economist for the Bank of International Settlements (BIS) stating on Jan. 20 that the economy is now worse than it was in 2007.
The BIS is known as the central bank of central banks, and plays a key role in facilitating global currency exchanges between nations and economies.  And what gives economist William White credibility in his current assessment of the global economy is the fact that he forecasted and warned of the 2008 economic collapse that led to the death of Lehman Brothers and Bear Stearns.

IMF pumping out declines in global growth forecasts like central banks print money

On Jan. 19, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) cut its forecast for global growth for the third time in less than a year, validating that the largest financial centers in the world have little idea on what is actually occurring within the global economy.
The IMF’s cut follows today’s announced decline in China’s GDP, and last Friday’s Atlanta Fed announcement that they were cutting estimates on U.S. GDP growth for the quarter ending December 2015.

Blood in the Streets, but not on the Yellow Brick Road

As oil falls below $27, and the former Chief Economist at the Bank of International Settlements (BIS) declares the global economy worse than in 2007, one asset is breaking out amongst the carnage that are the stock markets.

Gold.

Got Karatbars? Global banks telling clients to sell everything as chaos will ensue in all markets

The global stock market declines that have begun this new year have not occurred in a vacuum, and in fact are becoming serious problems for many banks and brokers who manage customer money in stock accounts.  And while some institutions like J.P. Morgan Chase are telling their clients to use the volatility in the markets to sell their positions during every rally, one major bank is taking this even further by telling their clients to...

Sell everything.

RBS has advised clients to brace for a “cataclysmic year” and a global deflationary crisis, warning that the major stock markets could fall by a fifth and oil may reach US$16 a barrel.
The bank’s credit team said markets are flashing the same stress alerts as they did before the Lehman crisis in 2008.
“Sell everything except high quality bonds,” warned Andrew Roberts in a note this week.
He said the bank’s red flags for 2016 — falling oil, volatility in China, shrinking world trade, rising debt, weak corporate loans and deflation — had all been seen in just the first week of trading.
“We think investors should be afraid,” he said. - Financial Post

We are now at a time when it is not only the alternative media that is sensing a global collapse, or at the very least a major recession, but the mainstream is now jumping on the negative bandwagon and calling for investors to protect their wealth outside of paper markets.  And as we know from 6000 years of history, when markets and currencies decline the only real safe haven is to store your money in physical gold.

Yet since most people even today cannot afford to buy gold in either ounces or kilo denominations, what alternatives are there for you to protect your wealth in gold, and have complete control and access to it anytime of day without the need or intervention of a broker, dealer, or bank?

You can do all of this with a company called Karatbars

Buying gold through Karatbars is one of the easiest things on the net.  In fact, the business model of Karatbars is to sell gold in affordable quantities, such as 1, 2.5, and 5 gram increments, and allow customers to get into the metal without having to shell out $1200+ for a single ounce coin.

France becomes second nation in a week to call for a State of Economic Emergency

Late last week the President of Venezuela announced a 60 day State of Economic Emergency as their financial situation continued to deteriorate due to the decline in oil prices.  And now on Jan. 18, the European nation of France has joined in the festivities and called for their own State of Emergency.
French President Francois Hollande issued the economic decree in an attempt to circumvent the continuing downward spirals that are affecting jobs and overall production.  And while this economic emergency is not as restrictive as the one imposed in Venezuela, it recognizes the importance of the situation in France, where Hollande will seek to work with local businesses on how to stimulate growth.

Think $30 oil is bad? Get ready for $20 now that Iran has officially re-entered the market

Saturday the 16th of January was officially D-Day for the collapsing oil markets as it is now the time for Iran to enter in with its sanction held supplies, and prepared coming production.  And if the world economy thought Friday’s $29 oil was bad for markets, just wait for what the introduction of Iranian supplies does for these markets going forward.
For nearly a decade, economic sanctions against Iran had financially locked the OPEC nation in bondage, and required them to sell small amounts of oil through the ‘black market’ channels in Turkey we now know as the oil for gold scheme.  But since the U.S. decided to suddenly shift gears over the past few months in attempting to collapse Iran’s economy, the Islamic power has prepared for today with huge offerings of oil that are expected to create even greater chaos in an already saturated market.

Margin calls and meltdown: The collapse is occurring right now

On Monday, Nomi Prins issued her own declaration that the economic collapse is occurring right now in 2016 with what she says are 'many' depressionary environments already taking place in countries around the world.  In particular, Brazil has cancelled its annual sacred Carnival Festival, and Qatar just yesterday experienced a complete meltdown of their markets.

And in a validation of Nomi's analysis, Bill Holter contacted the SGT Report on Jan. 17 to put on an interview to discuss the fact that the entire financial system is under the duress of a major margin call, and that an economic meltdown is as well underway at this moment.

Venezuela in crisis: Oil nation put into 60 day state of economic emergency

Last week we focused on Canada, and the economic crises that has exploded across that country due to low oil prices, and massive debts created in the building of a housing bubble.  And with markets crashing all across the world over the first 17 days of 2016, the situation in another oil producing country is also dissolving into economic crisis.
On Jan. 15, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro declared a 60 day state of economic emergency for the South American nation in what appears on the surface to be an escalation of capital controls that have already destroyed their economy for almost a decade.

Walmart! Macy’s! When will they finally admit consumers are broke?

Only on CNBC, and in the research rooms of the big banks, could Ivy League analysts have the temerity to spin consumer spending and retail data to be a vision of unicorns and rainbows (and don’t forget the skittles).  But for those looking at information at face value, it is impossible to deny that the economy is in recession.
And one of the data points that practically assures this truth is what is happening to retailers just weeks after the end of the Christmas holiday season.

Got Karatbars? Gold is a protection against currencies, and why China may be the one to open the floodgates

For more than five years, the global financial system has been weighed under by a currency war that shows no sign of stopping.  It is one of the primary reasons why central banks have resorted to zero or negative interest rates, and why countries like Japan have initiated a policy of endless QE.

But as we know in the gold markets since 2011, something or someone has been carefully creating a disconnect between the monetary metal and its checks against fiat currencies like the dollar.  And it is one of the primary reasons why gold prices have not only declined 40% from their all-time highs in 2011, but have also lost its luster to most investors who only see gold as a commodity to be bought and sold like a security or stock.

Yet over in China and Japan, gold is not manipulated by their government or their central banks, and is reflected fairly correctly in price in relation to the Yen and the Yuan.  And as China mulls the proposition of devaluing their currency another 10-15% in the coming months, gold, more than stocks or bonds, is proving to be the best investment for citizens within the 2nd largest economy in the world.

Finally, the real purpose of the PBOC's exercise in FX management today was, just like in August, to fire a warning shot at the Fed's rate-hiking plans. Only this time the warning shot is far, far louder.
In September the Fed postponed its rate hike as a result of China's devaluation. Will it do the same again next week? Because if China is about to unleash a 15% deval of the CNY against the entire world, expect a flood of Chinese FX reserves as the PBOC tries to control the glidepath of its currency, and avoid an all out collapse driven by soaring capital outflows.
In other words, we are now right back where we were in mid-August, just before the bottom fell out of the market.
"The biggest risk in China is not really the economy," said Qian Wang, senior Asia economist for Vanguard Investments Hong Kong. "The real risk is, number one; the policy uncertainty, and number two; the currency. China is walking on eggshells."Chinese citizens, meanwhile, are anxiously awaiting tomorrow’s market open while mentally repeating the same three lines:
  •  Sure am glad I bought that gold last year.
  • Wish I’d bought more gold last year.
  • Wonder what I’ll have to pay for gold next week… - Zerohedge

So with China signalling a new devaluation, and the U.S. Federal Reserve speaking on Friday of not only retracting the interest rate hike they did in December, but perhaps even taking rates down into negative territory, how can you protect yourself from this paradigm of currency devaluation that will not end until many if not all of these currencies end in collapse?

With the very thing that as we see above increases in value as paper money declines.  Gold.

And the best way to buy it and protect your wealth in any currency this is with a company called Karatbars
